A teenager was forced to strip and robbed by two youths on a freezing cold December evening in Tewkesbury last year.
The boy had been robbed at knifepoint and forced to strip down to his boxer shorts by the pair.
In a hearing at Gloucester Crown Court today Judge Jamie Tabor QC, was told that a nurse, Yvonne Lusardi, stopped and assisted the boy shortly after he had been subjected to the terrifying ordeal on December 27.
"She behaved very well," the judge said. "I admire what she did."
The boy told Ms Lusardi that he had just been robbed at knifepoint and she called the police.
He said in his police video interview that he had "walked about 50 metres before this woman found me. I was very cold. She put a jacket on me, and said 'I'm going to have to call the police'"
The hearing today was for the judge to rule whether a knife had been used in the robbery. The two teenagers admitted the offence but denied the use of a weapon.

Having heard the evidence from the victim, the judge said: "I'm quite satisfied that a knife was produced and that this was a knifepoint robbery."
The two teenage boys will be sentenced on November 23, and were warned that "custody was highly likely."
Giving his conclusions the judge said: "The complainant was just 14 years old. He was subjected to a nasty beating and on a very cold night was left in just his underpants.
"He was picked up by a good Samaritan, a nurse, and told her immediately he was robbed at knifepoint. He was subjected to a terrifying ordeal. He has always said there had been a knife."
Earlier in his evidence, the boy said that he had been with friends at a bus shelter near Carrant Brook Primary School in Tewkesbury at about 8.30pm on December 27, when he was approached by the two teenagers.
"They walked up and said 'We need to talk to you.' I said all right then, but they said 'let's walk and talk'. We ended up near Gould Drive in Northway, near quite a dark alley.
The boy explained that one of them lunged towards him, put him in a headlock, and grabbed his clothes.
"They dragged me into a dark alley, then punched me and kneed me in the face. Then I heard a clicking noise. I saw a three inch blade. It was a flick knife.
"One of them lunged towards me with it and pushed it towards my neck. My phone started ringing, and it was my mum. I went to answer it, but they took it and said to each other 'do you want a new phone?'
"I was stripped down to my boxers. It was freezing cold. They had told me to strip off while pointing the knife. One said 'Take you clothes off now, or I'll slice you up.'
"I was left wearing a pair of boxers, no socks, nothing. They took my phone and my clothes.
"I had a black eye and bruises to my face, and a cut to my lip," the boy said.
When asked by one of the teenager's lawyers if he was mistaken about the knife he said "I seen the knife. I'm 100 per cent sure the knife was there. I did see it, and I got a cut to my ear."
The judge ruled that the boy was right, and that the teenagers had used a knife when they robbed him.
Both teenagers were granted bail until their sentence.
