A video of what appears to be a teenage boy masturbating on a bus in Singapore has gone viral on Twitter
" If ya'll see this sh*t, contact the police immediately and separate the victim from the person ," the caption read. @froyokurt's tweet , which was posted on 3 July, has garnered over 4,500 retweets at the time of writing.
In the 10-second video, the boy can be seen masturbating over his pants while focusing his attention in one direction
The netizen revealed that he was watching a secondary schoolgirl on the bus the entire time . " It's disgusting I had to witness it firsthand, but I'm glad my mum raised me to not just sit and watch when these things happen ," Kurt wrote. "Don't ever think twice about helping someone in need," he added.
After telling the bus driver, the netizen called the police and tried to contain the teenager in the bus until they arrived.
"He kept trying to leave and the girl was seriously frightened," he wrote.
In another video in the thread, Kurt can be seen blocking the boy from the girl he was watching .
The boy can be seen attempting to force open the door in order to escape .ο»Ώ
Police eventually arrived and took charge of the situation. However, the netizen was not told what actions would be taken against the boy.
"The girl's family came down and thanked me for helping them. The girl felt a lot better after the situation was dealt with and I'm glad she's okay ," he wrote.
Netizens, including several victims of sexual harassment, praised Kurt for taking action instead of staying silent
Last month, a group of friends received an award for catching a man "insulting the modesty of a woman" at a MRT station in Singapore:
"The more we saw him run, the more we wanted to catch him."

When the ancient Polynesians invented surfing, they often used a paddle to help them navigate. Fast-forward a few millennia, and Stand-Up Paddleboarding, or SUP, finds itself trendy again. Part of its increasing popularity is that standing upright allows surfers to spot waves more easily and thus catch more of them, multiplying the fun factor. Paddling back to the wave becomes less of a strain as well. The ability to cruise along on flat inland water, surveying the sights, is another advantage. Finally, itβs a good core workout. If youβre sold on the idea, schedule an intro SUP lesson, free with board and paddle rental, and you may find yourself riding the waves like a Polynesian king.

Sub Pop recording artists 'clipping.' brought their brand of noise-driven experimental hip hop to the closing night of 2016's San Francisco Electronic Music Fest this past Sunday. The packed Brava Theater hosted an initially seated crowd that ended the night jumping and dancing against the front of the stage. The trio performed a set focused on their recently released Sci-Fi Horror concept album, 'Splendor & Misery', then delved into their dancier and more aggressive back catalogue, and recent single 'Wriggle'.
Opening performances included local experimental electronic duo 'Tujurikkuja' and computer music artist 'Madalyn Merkey.'"

The 2.7-mile "Philosopher's Way" trail in McLaren Park is the cure for when you've overdosed on San Francisco's increasingly technology-saturated, artisanal-minded spiral into gentrification.
