Tech Lead 

Gamedev | Qatar

We are searching for a Tech Lead for a brand new gamedev startup that will focus on publishing midcore & hardcore games for mobile. This is a great chance to join while the core team is being formed!

The company was founded by seasoned entrepreneurs with a proven track record of building successful businesses in the gamedev industry over the last 12 years 😱

You'll be responsible for making strategic decisions, building a team from scratch, and being at the forefront of a company!

What will help you stand out:

- 6+ years of experience, with a significant amount of it in building multiplayer online games off which at least 4 years of experience as Lead Developer in a gaming company

- Extensive experience in the development and deployment of online games, including expertise in network architecture, server-side programming, and player engagement strategies

-Experience with cloud computing, DevOps, cybersecurity, and game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine)

- Experience working with Amazon Gamelift, Google Firebase and / or Microsoft Playfab

- Strong technical expertise and previous hands-on experience as a software engineer, preferably in large mobile products (iOS/Android native, C++/C#/Java/Scala)

- English fluent.
