Fallon O'Connor was a Pastry Chef who was torn between following her dreams and staying in Holly to be close to her family. After the kiss she and the sexy as sin sheriff shared on Christmas, she had been avoiding him. Sheriff Brad Fulton wanted Fallon O'Connor more than he'd ever wanted any woman before. After the kiss they shared on Christmas's Eve, he knew that he couldn't walk away from her. But Fallon had been avoiding him. Brad was finally able to talk to Fallon and he put his cards on the table. Just when he thought things were going in the right direction, Fallon announced that he was leaving Holly to attend culinary school in California. Well that little tidbit made Brad step up his game to win Fallon's heart. He didn't want to stop her from pursuing her dreams but he wasn't ready to let go either. Fallon felt the same, she wasn't prepared for the intensity of her feelings towards Brad. In the end Fallon made the choice that was best for her. Fallon's overprotective brothers Jackson (MERRY CHRISTMAS, BABY), Maguire and Nolan looking out for her felt like real life when a little sister was seen with a guy and they would give him hell before they accepted him. TEASE ME, BABY is the second book in Katie Reus' O'Connor family series. It was fast-paced, intriguing and sexy. Totally loved this little story. Fallon and Brad were perfect for each other. Fighting her fear of failing she so made the right decision staying in Holly... cute cute read......can't wait to dive into "It's Me Again, Baby"
Katie Reus - Tease Me, Baby (O'Connor Family Series - Book 2) The setting for the series is in a make-believe town, Holly, in North Carolina, located in Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a town that is Christmas year-round. The second book focuses on Fallon O’Connor, the only girl in the family with three brothers. Fallon feels that she should follow her parent’s advice and take the coveted spot in culinary school thousands of miles away. She didn’t want to go, she loved her friends, her family and this wonderful town. Fallon should be happy about this opportunity, but she wasn’t. When Sexy Brad Fulton, Holly’s Sheriff stopped her with his blue lights flashing, just to ask her why she had been avoiding him since she kissed him at the Christmas Eve party. Fallon thought that Brad was too sexy for his own good. Yea, he was going to be hard to ignore before she left. Brad has decided that he can’t let her move away from Holly and him, so he sets out to find out what she wants and not what she believes her parents want for her. Find out if Fallon will guide her own destiny or will she take the easier road and do what she believes her parents want her to do?
Tease Me Baby is the second book (novella) in the O’Connor family series by Katie Reus. It takes place in the town of Holly – where it is Christmas 365 days a year. Fallon O’Connor is one step away from following her dreams (or so she thinks). She is always trying to please someone (usually her mother) and thinks that attending pastry school will do this. After a scorching encounter with Brad Fulton, the town Sheriff and all around boy scout, Fallon is torn between school and staying with Brad. The plot was fairly well developed for a novella and the characters were believable. Although this is the second novella (book) in the series, and you do see appearances by prior characters, I think it could be read as a stand-alone quite easily. Ms. Reus’ books are generally an automatic purchase for me. Her plots are well written, the characters are well developed and their interactions are believable.
Meet Fallon O'Connor, the only daughter in the O'Connor family. She is a woman with a problem. She has a great opportunity to go to culinary school in another state, or stay home with her family and open her own business. Oh, and she has another issue, Brad Fulton, Mr. Boy Scout and Sherriff of her hometown. I know what I would choose, but I"m not Fallon. Brad has been watching Fallon for a year and on Christmas, he thought they would be moving into a relationship, but no. She has avoided him ever since. Two weeks before Fallon heads off to school, they begin to start on that relationship, with their eyes wide-open. Yes, they live Happily Ever After, but you're really going to like how they get there.
This was a sweet romance with Fallon finally finding what she wanted to do with the rest of her life and finding love with Brad, the sheriff of Holly. She bought a truck to turn into a food truck that she could move around to sell her bake goods calling it Sugar Rush. Once Brad got the nerve to finally ask her out he was going to make her his forever. In the end that is exactly what he did. This was a feel good romance and I recommend this second book in the O'Connor Family series as Fallon and Brad get their happily ever after with the approval of her family and his dad as well.
Tease Me Baby is the second book in the O'Connor series. This is Fallon's story. She wants to leave her hometown to go to culinary school, but the sheriff in town is proving to be too tempting. I really liked this one. It's probably my favorite out of the series so far. Brad and Fallon had great chemistry. I loved how he was willing to go wherever she went if it meant they could be together and she could fulfill her dream. This is definitely one to check out!
Brad and Fallon has an attraction to one another for over a year then finally acted on it. They were combustible from the get go. I enjoyed their story and their happily ever after.
I enjoyed this book more than the first, but I think it’s because I was familiar with Fallon and Brad:) Anyway, Fallon is supposed to be leaving for culinary school when she finds herself at the beginning of a new and exciting relationship with Brad, their town Sheriff! Sweet story and loved the ending:)
