There’s a reason this story went viral…
Erin Elizabeth McAuliffe, the North Carolina prep school teacher who was arrested for having sex with three of her teenage students, has become something of an internet sensation overnight in spite of—or because of—her alleged transgressions.
Here she leaving court on Tuesday morning, looking like she just escaped Amish country.
McAuliffe is so attractive that a couple anonymous readers who knew her in high school and college felt compelled to email photos to the guys at Barstool Sports after seeing their take on the viral sex scandal.
“I went to high school with this chick and actually talked with some of my buddys about 3 months ago about how we wouldn’t be surprised if she was smoking her students,” one reader wrote. “Sure enough, NAILED IT! (pun fully intended).”
Another email read, “Great article. I’ve attached more photos that I think could help… Also, if there’s one thing to downgrade her rating, it would be her recent cat tattoo on her leg. I’m not quite sure what she was thinking. Hope this helps.”
In one of the photos, McAuliffe appears to be wearing an engagement ring. Man, would it suck to be that guy right now.
We’ve said it before, but where the hell was this teacher when we were in high school?

A teacher has been left red-faced after her 'extremely graphic' nude photographs were allegedly leaked on social media by a student who found them.
The John Tonkin College teacher could face disciplinary action after she was said to have lent a thumb drive - containing explicit photos - to a student, the Mandurah Mail reported.
It's understood the Mandurah teacher, from Western Australia, had initially warned the student not to click on the photos filed on her USB drive.

However, the student allegedly found the explicit content on the flash drive before sharing them with friends, who circulated the images online.
The photographs allegedly show the teacher naked with her boyfriend.
An Education Department spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia the 'matter has been referred to the Department's staff standards and integrity team and will be fully investigated'.

A TEACHER has been accused of sending naked selfies and sexually explicit texts to a teenage student, according to police.
Michelina Aichele, 29, allegedly told the 17-year-old she fantasised about him while pleasuring herself, investigators said in their affidavit.
Police in New Jersey said she demanded to know his penis size in a series of explicit messages, including one that suggested she wanted visual proof.
They said that after the pair made contact through social media things started to take a more sordid turn when Aichele sent messages of a graphic nature, including nude images.
Authorities said she was arrested on October 5 and charged with second-degree endangering the welfare of a child, reports Associated Press.
The pupil alleged that the Montgomery Township High School teacher engaged in sexual conversations with him “through social media sites and email” over several months.
Somerset County prosecutors said the Montgomery Township School District contacted police on October 4.
Montgomery officials declined to comment and a phone number listed in Aichele’s name was not in service. It is unclear whether she has a lawyer.
She is being held in custody at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, said the Somerset County Prosecutor Michael H. Robertson and Montgomery Township police spokesman Thomas Wain.
The Bridgewater Courier News said Aichele worked as an English teacher at the school, earning £53,600 ($70,306).
And her LinkedIn profile states she has been teaching English at the high school since April 2012.
Superintendent of Schools Nancy H. Gartenberg said in a letter to the Montgomery Township School Community: “This teacher was suspended and removed from the high school on October 4, 2018 while the investigation was ongoing.
"The teacher's suspension shall be continued pending a resolution of the criminal charges.
"And the district will continue to cooperate with the Somerset County Prosecutor and the Montgomery Township Police Department."
The letter also said the education district is providing counselling and support services for students and staff members.
The County Prosecutor said that after officials were told about the alleged sexually explicit communications between a teacher and a male student, police interviewed the teen.
The Bridgewater Courier News said he told the investigators he had allegedly received nude photos from Aichele over a period of several months.
He also provided details of alleged sexually explicit conversations that he and Aichele engaged in through social media and emails.
According to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by New Jersey 101.5 , a girl alerted school officials on October 4 to an apparent "inappropriate sexual relationship" between the teacher and student, who had been Aichele's class for the past two years.
Investigators wrote in their report: "While collecting her belongings the defendant made statements about students possibly gaining access to her cellphone and sending nude photos of herself previously saved onto her phone to themselves."
The station said both were quizzed by school administrators and both initially denied any relationship.
But the boy later told cops that between February and April he received four nude pictures from the teacher.
The station said he also told police Aichele sent him messages on Snapchat saying she thought about him while masturbating, investigators said in their affidavit.
School officials provided email communications between the two, using the institution's email addresses.
In one of the messages, Aichele "appears to discuss with the victim the size of the victim's penis," and also "seems to suggest an interest in seeing it," the papers allege.
