Teacher Training taassurotlari

Miss Mahliyo

Actually I couldn't participate in speaking lesson which I really regret, after watching the video shared in the group I generally understood how a speaking lesson should be organized and proceeded. However, I had some questions related to speaking lesson. Because I was confused about the difference between speaking and function lessons. Having taking part in Shahzoda's lesson, I could differentiate them. In speaking lesson, students are expected to be more independent and free and when they are given a task they can make some additions using their background knowledge related to the topic. However, in function, they should use only what the teacher has taught. And speaking has remained more interesting type of lesson for me as I thought because teacher can organize this type of lesson in more creative way by bringing real life situation and using realia.

Mr Muhammadyusuf

I really benefited from this week’s speaking session because it helped me understand how to structure a speaking lesson more effectively. I learned the importance of setting a clear context, giving simple and clear instructions, and maximizing student talking time instead of teacher talking time. One of the most valuable things I noticed was how useful pair and group work can be in creating a communicative classroom atmosphere. I also realized how important it is to monitor students carefully and give delayed feedback rather than interrupting their fluency. Overall, this session increased my confidence and gave me practical ideas that I can apply in my future teaching. I am grateful for the guidance and support throughout the lesson.

Miss Oqila

In this session, we learned how to teach speaking skills in a more interactive and student-centered way. Previously, when I conducted speaking lessons in my class, I did not pay much attention to the stages of the lesson because I assumed that speaking activities were easy for students and did not require careful structuring.
However, during this session, I realized that staging is extremely important in developing students’ speaking skills effectively. Proper lead-in activities, clear instructions, modeling, and feedback stages make the lesson more organized and purposeful.
I also understood that activities such as role-plays and act-outs make the lesson far more engaging and meaningful. Instead of simply asking students to answer questions, these interactive tasks encourage them to use language more naturally and confidently. They promote creativity, real communication, and active participation.
Overall, this session helped me reflect on my own teaching practice. I now understand that teaching speaking is not just about giving students time to talk, but about carefully planning tasks that guide them toward meaningful communication. In the future, I will pay more attention to lesson staging and incorporate more interactive speaking activities into my classes.

Miss Shakhzoda

This week, we focused on speaking which is one of my favourite skills. I tried hard to make my lesson more engaging, and I learned key points from you that I can implement in my speaking lessons. I realized that speaking lessons are closely connected to creativity. Honestly, I had little time to prepare this week, so I couldn’t fully plan engaging or fun activities, but overall, I am learning valuable things step by step from every lesson.I realized that giving clear instructions and guidance to students is very important. I also learned how to plan a speaking lesson, which has always been a difficulty for me. And now I wanna focus on the accuracy and effectiveness of my teaching.
Thank you, miss Aziza for your guidance and encouragement. ❤️
