Roasting
Lazy Sunday is light roast that is pleasant to taste. It mellows and becomes a warm hug to your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa offers citrus hints to add balance. The result is a cup that is delicious by itself or with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It would complement vanilla cakes with lemon drizzle and lemon sponges.
When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. Once brewed leave to steep for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water should be pushed through by the plunger. Don't stir or agitate your coffee, as this could result in unpleasant odors appearing in your cup.
Strength - 3 is gentle and easygoing, great for relaxing weekends.
Stores
Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast that has a sweet cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a smooth mouthfeel that softens the palette. The cocoa-like notes can be traced back to a winter's day spent on the sofa with an enjoyable book and a warm hug from the family. Prepare your French Press by using water that has not yet reached boiling point. This is recommended to prevent the coffee from extracting too much and creating unwanted elements in the drink. Add your grounds along with 250ml of water that just boiled. For 4 minutes, simmer before letting it plunge and then enjoy.
