We are expanding our global team and looking for a Tax Consultant to bring their wider knowledge and help us get our product and service more widely known and used.

Responsibilities:
Global Tax Compliance and Reporting
* Manage relationships with local tax advisors to ensure global CIT and VAT compliance is executed accurately and on time, in line with regulatory requirements and business needs.
* Monitor changes in international tax laws and assess their impact on company operations.
* Ensure proper documentation and support for all tax filings and audits, including transfer pricing and substance requirements.
Tax Advisory and Planning
* Provide strategic tax advice on cross-border transactions, permanent establishment risks, personal income tax and payroll matters and tax-efficient structuring.
* Collaborate with legal, finance, HR, and operations teams to advise on the tax implications of business decisions, including new market entry and entity setup.
* Support M&A activities and restructurings from a tax perspective.
* Participate in the development of new IT products by providing valuable insights from a tax perspective.
VAT and Indirect Tax Oversight
* Ensure accurate VAT treatment of cross-border services and products, with particular focus on reverse charge rules, digital services taxation, and place-of-supply regulations. Collaborate with external tax advisors and, when necessary, engage with tax authorities to address complex VAT issues and support dispute resolution.
Personal Income Tax and Mobility Support
* Support global mobility and remote work arrangements by managing individual income tax risks and compliance obligations.
* Collaborate with HR and payroll teams to ensure accurate reporting and withholding of PIT for employees in multiple jurisdictions.
Risk Management and Process Improvement
*
* Identify and mitigate tax risks through process improvements, documentation, and automation where feasible.
* Develop and implement internal tax policies and controls in line with global best practices.
* Manage and maintain an internal tax knowledge base across multiple jurisdictions.
Stakeholder Communication
* Act as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on international tax matters.
* Coordinate with external tax advisors, auditors, and authorities as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, Finance, or Law.
* Min. 5 years of experience in international taxation, ideally with a mix of Big 4 and in-house roles.
* Strong technical knowledge of CIT, VAT, and PIT across multiple jurisdictions.
* Excellent research and problem solving skills.
* Experience in the IT or EOR industry is highly desirable.
* Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
* Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
