Tangerine NFT Event with a $10,000 Prize Pool
Tangerines, tangerinesWarm winter greetings, friends! In this article, we’ll explain how to join the New Year NFT event for Fanton players. Play in special NFT tournaments from January 31 to February 24 and earn the event currency — "tangerines". Climb into the Top-40 of the event's Leaderboard! The Prize pool includes $10,000, 20 NFT cards for fantasy players, Fanton T-skirts and hoodies, tickets to Common tournaments!
Features of the Tangerine NFT Event
To participate in the Tarnegrine NFT event, you’ll need a few NFT cards — perhaps even just one. Entry to the Beginner tournament is free, while entry fees for Amateur and Pro tournaments are low (3 USDT). Also you earn more tangerines for participating in the Beginner tournament.

🍊 Global NFT Amateur Cap 700: Entry fee 3 USDT, four tournaments, up to 2 lineups per manager
🍊 Global NFT Pro Cap 700: Entry fee 3 USDT, four tournaments, up to 2 lineups per manager
You’ll compete across four gameweeks:
- Jan 31 – Feb 3: 3 tournaments (Beginner, Amateur, Pro) based on the top-5 leagues
- February 7–10: 3 tournaments (Beginner, Amateur, Pro) based on the top-4 leagues (excluding EPL, as there are no matches this gameweek)
- February 14–17: 3 tournaments (Beginner, Amateur, Pro) based on the top-5 leagues
- February 21–24: 3 tournaments (Beginner, Amateur, Pro) based on the top-5 leagues
Tournament Features:
- Prize system in Amateur and Pro: 20%.
- Prize system in Beginner: NFT cards.
- NFT cards cannot be used simultaneously in other NFT tournaments.
- The user’s lineup with the highest fantasy points in a tournament will earn tangerines based on the tangerine distribution table — details are provided below.
- If a player submits 2 lineups in the same tournament, tangerines will only be awarded for the lineup with the highest points among the user's teams.
Goal for players in the New Year event: Rank in the top-40 managers by the number of tangerines accumulated. These 40 players will receive two rewards:
The First Reward for Top-40 managers: $4,000 to be distributed among the 40 players in different proportions. Additionally, the top-20 managers with the most tangerines will receive 20 NFT cards. Here's how the $4,000 prize pool will be divided among the top 40 players:
1st place: $600
2nd place: $350
3rd place: $250
4th place: $200
5th place: $150
6th–7th places: $110
8th–28th places: $90
29th–40th places: $30
The Second Reward for all managers in the Top-40 is entry to the Common EPL Cap 650 Tournament, featuring matches from the English Premier League (EPL). After February, registration will open, and players will compete for $6,000 using Common cards in a two-round showdown. The final tournament will consist of two rounds, with lineups built using Common cards and a 650-point cap:
- First Round: EPL Cap 650 Tournament, March 7-10, EPL Matchday 28
- Second Round: EPL Cap 650 Tournament, March 14–17, EPL Matchday 29
Fantasy points earned by participants in the Common cards tournaments will be totaled after both EPL rounds in March. You’ll be able to view your points in an online leaderboard, similar to the tangerin table from the first stage of the New Year event.
Each user can submit only one lineup for each of the two EPL rounds. No complex math — just fantasy!
Example: A player named Dsm1796 finishes in the Top-40. She participates in both Common tournaments based on EPL matches. Suppose she scores 1,056 points in the first round and 1,245 points in the second round. Her total fantasy score would be 2,301 points, earning 1st place and a prize of $2,000 in $FTON tokens.
Top-10 Managers from the 40 will share the $6,000 prize pool as follows:
- $2,000
- $1,000
- $700
- $500
- $400

Changes to NFT Card Rules
Before the start of the Tangerine Event, the NFT tournament system will be updated as follows:
- Beginner: Players can use 1 to 2 Rare cards. You can play with 1 Rare card, but if you want to strengthen your lineup, you can purchase a second Rare card and play with both. All other cards must be Common.
- Amateur: Players can use 3 to 5 Rare cards, 1 Epic card, and up to 2 Common cards. To strengthen your lineup, you can play with 4 Rare + 1 Epic, or if you’re short on cards, you can play with 3 Rare + 2 Common. Any combination is allowed, depending on the number of available cards.
- Pro: Players can use 0 to 3 Rare cards, 2 to 5 Epic cards, and 0 to 2 Legendary cards. Common cards are not allowed.
Details about Legend (formerly Legendary) tournaments will be shared in January. These tournaments will have free entry and offer opportunities to win $FTON.
The $FTON exchange rate for cash prize payouts for both stages of the event will be calculated as of the conclusion of the second stage — March 17, 2024. Prize tokens will be distributed to users within 7 to 10 days after the event ends.
Multi-account restrictions.
We aim to prevent scenarios where owners of large galleries distribute their NFT cards across multiple wallets and participate in tournaments from different accounts, gaining an unfair advantage.
To prevent this, we will analyze the activity of NFT owners on the Getgems marketplace. In cases of suspicious activity, the administration reserves the right to fully disqualify NFT gallery owners found engaging in multi-accounting.
