Alphas is a science fiction drama focusing on a team that investigates people with supernatural abilities.
Following the death of a witness in a court case, Dr. Lee Rosen leads a team of "Alphas", (advanced human beings) who have have a number of special skills that makes them a formidable team. As Rosen mentors them and teaches the team to harness their considerable skills, they begin to realize that there are powerful forces behind the courthouse murder, including one of their own.
Here in Greece we don't even know this series, but fortunately I was happy to find it out through a friend of mine who lives in London. I've completed season 1 and I have to say that it mainly confused me, because in the beginning I thought it was a rubbish. But for some reason I kept watching it and it turned out to be a really good show. Characters are likable, especially Nina and Gary, and you actually care about what had happened in their life. As for the series itself, I think it's something between X-Men and CSI which is really cool. The huge disadvantage of this show is that sometimes they start a personal story of one of the characters along with the main storyline and then you don't see what's happening next, you only see the result. Anyway, generally I'm enjoying the show very much. (sorry for my bad English :P)
I don't regard dis as a TV serial but more specifically i say it as a movie splitted into seasons.... and am hoping that syfy might launch its 3rd season in 2013 soon.... the stunts co-ordinated for the character Hicks are just awesome... besides every person fits into his/her character... moreover, i can understand that a good creativity is the key to make this serial a hit and that exactly what its creators had done... the best thing is a small recap that is given in the starting of the serial to make the person understand easily what's going on in the episode even though he might have missed its previous one... i request its directors to please launch its third season soon...
