Bombing over rocks and roots with this thing makes you feel like you're rolling over marshmallows. Arms feel fine while the feet take a beating! Drop2Flat Apr 12, at This fork is stiff, strong, and light considering how burly it is. It doesn't have many adjustments, which for me is a good thing. I don't like my bike parts to confuse me. It is virtually maintenance free and the new QR axle is sweet. It does have a very narrow gap between the top of the crown and the steertube, so a lot of frames do not clear, but you can just get a headset or a race that will accommodate for the needed extra space. This fork is amazing. Yes it is expensive but the first day riding it I under rotated a Backflip and came up short on the jump. I think any other fork would have blown up the internals or bent the steertube but this fork is built so well that it didn't suffer any damage at all. But if you do buy this fork make sure that you run it at mm for most of the time, because the travel adjustment is only for climbing and not necessarily to be used for big jumps. Other than that this is the ultimate fork for the well rounded mountain biker, light strong, and incredibly reliable. I love this fork. It works great in the river valley close to my home as well as the local rabbit hill bike park. I like the well thought of details and I think the looks are great! It's light and amazingly stiff.
