Between raising two children, being a housewife, and riding horses in her spare time, Instagrammer Summers VonHesse still finds time to make an income of nearly $5,000 per month. And she does it by selling sexy selfies online.
“I’ve never had a ‘real job’ since I got married eight years ago. Being able to contribute in my house feels really nice,” VonHesse Tells Yahoo Beauty .
A post shared by summers (@socalsummers) on Jul 17, 2017 at 7:33am PDT
In November, VonHesse began revealing more skin on her Instagram page. She quickly realized she was an online hit, reaching nearly 110,000 Instagram followers, and could profit from all the fans who wanted to see more of her. So she decided to take control and increase her finances as well as her followers.
“I enjoy doing it,” she says. “To be honest, I’m not doing it because we really need the money or anything like that, but it sure is nice that I am bringing in $5,000 a month.”
So how exactly does this work? VanHesse posts pictures on a portal called patreon.com/socalsummers . Then strangers pay different sums of money to get glimpses of VonHesse in lingerie and sometimes even nude.
Users of the platform pledge a certain amount per month and then get access to the explicit content of the Nevada mom. The cost to subscribe goes from $5 to $50; the higher sum you are willing to pay, the more content you have access to see.

But the 30-year-old tells Yahoo Beauty that it took her a long time to love her body and be as confident as she is now — confident enough to post pictures of herself like that on the Internet.
“I was always putting myself down, my husband kept telling me I was the most beautiful girl in the world, but I didn’t believe him,” says VonHesse.
Her journey toward self-love started two years ago when she began following other body-positive Instagrammers. She says that when she saw the confidence of women who had body types similar to hers, it helped her realize her own beauty.

“Believe it or not, I was reading through the comments of the other bloggers and saw how men were telling them how beautiful they were. I began there to believe that what my husband had been telling me all along was true,” she says.

VonHesse’s husband is in the military, and he takes most of the photos of his wife himself. She says he supports her decision and is proud to have such a beautiful wife.
“My husband knows how men are,” she says. “Sometimes we make fun of all those weird comments I get on my pics.”
As for what’s next, VonHeese aspires to one day open a sanctuary for abandoned horses. As she writes on her Patreon page: “It is my dream to set up a horse rescue, first and foremost. This was little more than a crazy idea that would never happen a year ago, but with y’alls support it is going to become a reality.”

As VonHesse is a mom of two, we also had to ask how she’d feel if her children followed her into this line of work. “I think that the human body is a beautiful thing, and there is nothing to be ashamed of,” she says. “I want them to love their bodies, and if they wanna profit from sharing images, then I would be fine with that.”

Priscilla Fleming became a licensed massage therapist in 2019 to help people. What she didn’t expect was sexual harassment, which she says began almost instantly. “At that point I now had to process this traumatic experience while also navigating a brand new industry that put me alone in a dark room with strangers. So I really contemplated just leaving the industry all together between the vulgar messages and then trying to navigate that. I wasn't sure if it was worth it, but I stuck it out, “ says Fleming. In response, Fleming launched the ethics course, “Safety & Solicitation: Gaslighting and Power Dynamics” to help other therapists recognize threatening behavior from clients. She’s also on a mission to combat harmful stereotypes that plague the massage industry. The dangers facing massage therapists made headlines last month, when NFL quarterback Deshuan Watson was suspended by the Cleveland Browns for 11 games and given a $5 million fine after he was accused of sexual misconduct by 24 massage therapists. Allegations included Watson exposing himself and manipulating therapists into touching him in an inappropriate manner. Two of the women also accused Watson of pressuring them to perform oral sex. While Watson has repeatedly denied the claims, 23 of the 24 civil lawsuits have been settled. In an interview with Sports Radio 610, Watson’s lawyer, Rusty Hardin, claimed that a ‘happy ending’ was not a crime unless extra money was paid for the service. “I feel as though he single handedly put a lot of us at risk to be assaulted,” says Fleming. “The NFL is a very large, well known industry and there is a very large fan base. So by his lawyer making these allegations, I'm afraid that this is going to empower that fan base to come and seek what Dashaun Watson was receiving.” With her ethics course, Fleming spends considerable time educating other therapists about gaslighting and grooming tactics used by predatory clients. Gaslighting involves manipulating someone by sowing self doubt in what they are experiencing, and grooming is a process of seeing how far a predator can push past a person's personal boundaries. Fleming notes that in the therapeutic relationship, the licensed therapist is granted the power to lead the dynamic in a professional setting. She says that when that power dynamic shifts, therapists may find themselves operating in threatening territory.
Licensed massage therapist Priscilla Fleming combats the hyper-sexualization of the industry by educating other professionals on how to protect themselves.

An emotional video of woman taking her mother to Ireland before her dementia fully takes grip has gone viral online, leaving many people in tears.
Stephanie Martin, shared the clip to Instagram on September 19, which showed her "favorite moment" of her mother "from our 10 day trip around Ireland."
She explained: "My sweet momma was diagnosed with frontal temporal dementia a few years ago. The doctors said she had about 6-8 years before she would completely forget who we were.
"She always wanted to see the Cliffs of Moher, so I got her on a jet plane and made it happen."
In the video we can see that the elderly woman has tears streaming down her face as she looks out on the cliff view, the Burren region in County Clare.
The woman is flanked by Martin and another person as she takes in the experience.
After more clips of her looking around, the footage then cuts to a photograph of the mother posing in front of the jagged cliffs and ocean.
Martin captioned the video, which can be watched here , with the hashtags: "#travel #momma #ftd #life #blessing #grateful #loveher #ireland #happy #memories #moments #views #photography #cliffsofmoher #happiness #smile #instadaily #soakingherup #timestandstill #love #this."
The tear-jerking footage has been viewed by more than 4.7 million people and surpassed 241,000 likes.
Many people rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts on the emotional clip.
One Instagram user, Littlemissmomma, wrote: "I'm bawling watching this. Priceless. So much love and awe and wonder."
Another, Tara_biundo, added: "This is so sweet! I am sure this was one of the most special moments of her life."
Hauoli_o_nalani gushed: "You are the sweetest soul! This makes me want to cry! Time truly is the most precious thing on this planet."
Maria_thaler stated: "My heart aches for you and your family. What a very special moment. Cherish every single moment you can with your sweet, sweet mama."
Julie_7431 admitted: "I'm speechless. Thank you for sharing. You can't begin to imagine how grateful I am."
The U.K.'s NHS website explains that "dementia is the name for problems with mental abilities caused by gradual changes and damage in the brain."
The specific type that the woman in the video has is frontotemporal dementia.
The site explains that this "is an uncommon type of dementia that causes problems with behavior and language.
"Like other types of dementia, frontotemporal dementia tends to develop slowly and get gradually worse over several years.
"The average survival time after symptoms start is around 8 to 10 years. But this is highly variable and some people live much longer than this."
Newsweek have contacted Martin for comment.

One of the most overlooked and underrated of private times just might be shower time.
Mothers have virtually no privacy, especially in the first few years when the youngest hasn’t been ushered off to school just yet. Little snippets of alone time are therefore precious and must be spent wisely: Baby’s nap time which can also double as mom’s nap time. Those precious days when hubby offers to look after the kids, or when they can manage to find a good babysitter. Weekends where the kids may be dropped off to their doting grandparents. But one of the most overlooked and underrated of private times just might be shower time.
Indeed, without knowing it, moms do all sorts of things in the shower. Things that they may or may not share freely with family and friends. Things that their family and friends might consider too much information, even. But that doesn’t stop mom from putting her hair down – both literally and figuratively – when she enters that magical realm. In fact, a shower isn’t just a hygiene thing. It’s an experience . Mom might as well make it a good one.
We’ve asked moms from all over about all the secret and not-so-secret things that they do in the shower. And the answers range from unsurprising to shocking to borderline controversial. But don’t worry! All those secrets are safe with us. And if they made it to this list, do take heart that there are many, many more mothers who do exactly the same thing. Each of us can therefore feel a little less alone in our weirdness, even when we’re locked away in the solitude of the bathroom.
Let’s start with the obvious. Because who are we kidding? Practically everyone has peed in the shower or they’re lying about it. But moms, more so, because when one has got a preschooler, a toddler and a baby to worry about, who has time to bother getting out of the shower and sitting on the toilet? Definitely not mom. She’ll pee in the power proudly and if anyone has a problem with it, they’ll have to go ahead and do the dishes. For a month. Of course, she’s not obliged to tell anybody, either.
Seriously, though, the shower is the perfect place to release that bladder. The gentle splash of water stimulates the senses. Besides, moms are often used to holding in their pee as they juggle child care, work and chores. Sometimes shower time is pretty much the only time they remember that they’ve got a full bladder. And we don’t blame ‘em.
Did you know that the average woman loses up to 100 strands of hair in a day? And given that she has to do quite a lot of hair action in the shower, chances are that a good number of them will fall off while she’s in there. So what’s a mom to do? Some will let them fall off and pick them up from the drain when they’re done. Or just leave it there for their partner to pick up themselves.
Yet others just won’t do that. They pee on the floor , after all. And touching all the fallen hair involves touching pee. Indirectly, at least. Sometimes, therefore, mom opts to just hand comb all the loose strands out of her hair and stick it to the wall for safekeeping. That way, she can just scrape it off and dump it into the trashcan and nobody will ever know. Unless, of course, she forgets that it’s there.
Ever take a shower and just wonder what’s going on down there? Well, many women have! After all, the vag is a cave of wonders hidden so down under that it’s not exactly something that mom sees on a regular basis. So while in the shower, mom just might opt to pick up that handheld mirror and take a look at what’s down there. You know, to just inspect the goods.
Sometimes, mom might also be experiencing itchiness or some weird discharge. And she just wants to assess the damage. After all, she doesn’t want her OB-Gyne to see it first. No, sir. She wants to premiere tickets to what’s going on in her panties. Yet other moms do so shortly after childbirth to take a peek at any little tears or – worst case scenario – how the episiotomy is healing up. And after all that, might be a good idea to give it a good, satisfying wash.
Speaking of the vag, one of the major downsides of having one is the mess. There is, of course, the much-dreaded period. That much-despi
