About

SuperGeekery Tag Stripper is an ExpressionEngine utility plugin for stripping HTML tags from text. It is compatible with ExpressionEngine versions 2-5. Version 1 compatibility not tested.
Based on the Javascript "ify" version by Dustin Diaz. Also uses John Gruber's URL-matching regex .
Removes all HTML tags. Ignores all arguments passed in.
Removes all HTML tags except those tags passed in through a tags parameter. Multiple tags are passed in separated by the pipe | character, sometimes referred to as the OR operator. The tags parameter is optional, so it in essence operates like exp:tagstripper:stripAllTags . The tags parameter can also take a regexp range, for example, passing in h[1-3] would strip out h1, h2, h3, but not touch h4, h5, etc.
Removes specified HTML tags passed in through a tags parameter. Multiple tags are passed in separated by the pipe ( | ) character, sometimes referred to as the OR operator. The tags parameter is optional, but if you're not going to strip out any tags, you probably should just not use this plug-in. :)
Since this add-on is sometimes used to generate metadata, a lone quote mark, ' or " , can cause errors. You can use the escapeHTMLchars by setting its value to true (as of version 1.0.2 of SuperGeekery Tagstripper) to encode HTML special character to their HTML entities. The ampersand, double quote, single quote, less than, and greater than characters become & , " , ' , < , and > .
To any of the ExpressionEngine tags above you may also add the stripNbsp parameter set to true or yes to have the non-breaking space HTML entity removed from your text.
Stripping the non-breaking space character.
To any of the ExpressionEngine tags above you may also add the stringLineBreaks parameter set to true or yes to have the line breaks removed. This is helpful if you stripped all the paragraph tags but also wanted to remove the line breaks that might still be in the text. This is useful for automated meta data generation.

Strip all, some, or all except some HTML tags from strings with this easy-to-use Expression Engine add on.

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App >> . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .Β
Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.

If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.
Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Tag Stripper in the search bar and press Search. Click on Tag Stripperapplication icon. A window of Tag Stripper on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.
