I heave been gaining information about the medicinal qualities of these things in their more natural states, and so it makes me wonder. For example, grape in itself is not haraam but what can be done to the grape can make it haraam. Likewise, barley in itself is not a haraam thing but when barley ferments and alacohol is created from it then you have a haraam thing. That's why I say a marja in conjunction with medical experts would need to respond to that. If the type of cocaine intoxicates, and the intention behind using it is to intoxicate oneself, then it is obviously haraam, as alcohol is for the same reasons, and any other drug for that matter.
