TRUE World Platform Update: Moving Fully On-Chain

The Web3 industry is evolving rapidly.
With the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA) reaching full application on July 1, 2026, the rules for operating any platform that custodies crypto-assets on behalf of users have fundamentally changed. Holding user balances in a custodial wallet is now a licensed, capital-intensive activity under MiCA. In response, TRUE World is realigning its infrastructure to a model built for this new regulatory reality.
As part of this evolution, we have made the decision to transition TRUE World from a custodial infrastructure model to a fully on-chain architecture.
To support this migration, we have selected Privy — one of the leading wallet infrastructure providers in Web3, trusted by many of the world’s most innovative blockchain applications and millions of users.
Why are we making this change?
This transition is driven first and foremost by regulation. Under MiCA, continuing to operate a custodial wallet system would require a CASP authorization and the ongoing obligations that come with it. Moving to a fully on-chain, non-custodial model lets us:
- Align with MiCA by removing the custodial layer that triggers licensing requirements
- Give users direct, verifiable ownership of their assets
- Increase transparency across the ecosystem
- Reduce custodial and counterparty risk
- Build a compliant, sustainable foundation for the future of TRUE World
We believe this transition is an important step toward a more open, secure, and sustainable ecosystem.
What does this mean for you?
The most important thing: your assets remain safe. Our team is working to make the migration process as seamless as possible while preserving your balances, digital collections, achievements, and platform status.
Snapshot Date: July 10, 2026
On July 10, 2026, we will take a complete snapshot of all user accounts, including:
- $TRUE balances
- NTO balances
- Digital Collections
- User Levels and Statuses
- Achievements and platform progress
- Other ecosystem-related assets
These records will be used during the migration to the new on-chain infrastructure.
Important: Discontinuation of Custodial Cryptocurrency Balances
Safeguarding user crypto-assets in a custodial wallet is the activity that MiCA now regulates as a licensed service. For this reason, TRUE World will discontinue support for all custodial cryptocurrency balances. This includes, but is not limited to USDT, BTC, ETH and any other supported cryptocurrencies held within the current custodial wallet system
Users who wish to retain these assets in their original form must withdraw them before July 10, 2026 12:00 UTC.
To complete the migration cleanly, any custodial cryptocurrency balances still remaining after the snapshot date will be converted into $TRUE at the platform's prevailing exchange rate. This conversion is an operational step in the migration itself, applied to residual balances so that no account is left in an unmigratable state.
This conversion applies only to custodial cryptocurrency balances and does not affect NTO, Digital Collections, NFT Statuses and other ecosystem assets.
Important Notice
July 10, 2026 12:00 UTC is the final date to withdraw custodial cryptocurrency balances. After this date, withdrawals of BTC, ETH, USDT and other supported cryptocurrencies will no longer be available, and remaining balances will be converted into $TRUE as part of the migration process.
Custodial Platform Shutdown
Starting July 10, 2026, the current custodial version of TRUE World will no longer be operational. The platform will enter migration mode while we complete the transition to the new infrastructure. The launch date of the new on-chain version of TRUE World will be announced separately following final testing and migration procedures.

While this transition is prompted by a changing regulatory landscape, it also accelerates a direction we believe in: a TRUE World where ownership is verifiable on-chain and users hold their own assets.
