TIK TOK . How to launch your first campaign . Part 1

It's no secret how dynamic and changeable the affiliate market is. Large CPMs, problems with scaling and the search for new categories - this is how Tik Tok greeted us in the New Year.

In this article I will share my experience of testing new categories, creatives and working with CPM.

SELECT OFFER (CATEGORY)

Here's an analogy with Facebook:

1 - Affiliate recommendations

2 - Spy services (Adheart, Pipiads, FB Library, etc.).

Don't forget to pay attention to new trends in the market as a whole. These can be either popular services or work, or new interesting products. Try to choose categories that are more relevant to the Tik Tok audience.

TESTING OFFER/CREATIVE (CATEGORY)

Having decided on the category, we begin to prepare creatives. It is necessary to prepare at least 7-12 creos. It is important that they have different approaches and unique video sequences.

Regardless of your launch location, I recommend starting with a budget of $25 per adset. After launch, I let the ad units run for at least $3-$5 and then start analyzing the results. Be sure to pay attention to the following metrics in the set: CPC, CPM, CTR, CvR, CPA. If during the test we see that there are creatives that achieve -10% ROI or higher, then I advise you to try launching this category the next day.

CREATIVES. WHAT TO PAY ATTENTION TO.

One of the most important metrics now is CPM.

How to deal with high prices?

Definitely due to the uniqueness of your creatives. Use a unique video sequence, make interesting hooks and, most importantly, make your creative as multidisciplinary as possible to capture the attention of as large an audience as possible. It is also important to test different calls to action, this one makes sense too.

*Test launch at different times of the day😉

HOW TO SCALE

If you manage to find a profitable category and a creo for it, then you need to try to scale it.

You need to try everything, namely:

1 - Scaling with budgets. Try increasing your adset budget. Gradually +10%..+20, or sharply +50%..+100%..+300%. You should know how the ad set works for a given increase amount. Watch.

2 - Scaling with adsets. If you have a working creative, then try to make 3-7 takes of this creative. Try to duplicate adsets with the same budget or put a large one at once. Look at the difference between launching with different starting budgets.

3 - Scaling with creatives. Find as many effective creatives as possible.

IMPORTANT! There are categories that will not be scalable due to a limited audience or a sharp drop in payouts. In this case, you need to find a middle ground between the daily budget and the resulting ROI.
