The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) system has a universal instrument for the legal protection of intellectual property - a unitary Eurasian patent of the Eurasian Patent Organization (EAPO). The Eurasian patent system is based on the Eurasian Patent Convention (EAPC) of 1995, which provides for a unitary patent that is automatically valid in the territory of all participating states.

The application for the invention "Energy Storage" in the interests of D. Tiaglin was filed with the EAPO, registered on August 13, 2020 under number 202290124. After all the established patent procedures for the invention application were carried out, a decision was made to issue a Eurasian patent. After paying the patent fees, patent No. 041997 was issued on December 23, 2022.
Eurasian protection of an invention allows to protect the rights of the inventor (applicant), freely develop and use the invention in the territories of the countries participating in the Eurasian Patent Convention. Recognition of the invention contributes to the creation of new energy sources (storage devices), the development of infrastructure.
