Congratulations to the participants of the GOROD L.E.S project on the granting of national protection for the invention "Urban transport and logistics system" in Spain!
National protection for the invention "Urban transport and logistics system" in Spain was granted under the administrative procedure of validation of the European patent of regional effect (classic).
Validation is the recognition by a certain state of the validity of a regional patent on its territory by publishing a translation of the patent into the national language.
The application for the invention "Urban transport and logistics system" in the interests of D. Tiaglin was filed with the European Patent Office (EPO) through a patent attorney in June 2017, registered under the number EP 17839909. After a lengthy procedure for considering the application, the EPO decided to grant a patent for the invention "Urban transport and logistics system" to D. Tiaglin. The decision to grant came into force from the moment of its publication in the European Patent Bulletin on 10 April 2024, after payment of the publication and grant fees, as well as the fee for maintaining the application. The applicant was granted a regional European patent under the number EP 3498912.
Following the validation procedure, the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office registered a national patent for the invention "Urban transport and logistics system" in July 2024.
