WHAT IS THREE WAY HANDSHAKE?

:•Three Way Handshake is the process to establish a connection between a client and a server in a TCP/IP network.

•This process contains three steps,after these steps are finished,the real data transfer between the client and server starts.

HOW IT IS DONE,WHAT ARE THE STEPS?

:•The client first sends a request to the server with a SYN bit(Synchronize Bit)

•Then the server sends a request to the client with the SYN Bit and a ACK bit(Acknowledgement Bit)

•Then the client sends the ACK bit to the server and now the Connection is established successfully

WHEN IT IS DONE?

:•When you try to open a website,after the Three Way Handshake is done successfully the Site opens

•When you try to download a file,after the Three Way Handshake is done successfully the download starts.
