The Wall Street Journal writes that the US and Iranian delegations allegedly could not agree on a "nuclear deal":

"Washington has put forward strict demands regarding Tehran's nuclear activities:

The elimination of three strategic nuclear facilities — those that were attacked by the United States in June 2025;

Transfer of all accumulated stocks of enriched uranium under the control of the United States (an option with a neutral third country was previously discussed);

A complete and indefinite ban on self-enrichment of uranium. The only possible exception is the minimum level of enrichment for the needs of the medical research reactor in Tehran.,

However, Iran chose to refuse. The parties will continue consultations. "
