THE SECRET WAR FOR THE SHADOW THRONE
ancientofnightsThere is a serious contradiction within the Qlippothic lore when it comes to the hierarchy of demons ruling over a certain shadow sphere.
The most common categorization, mainly inherent for Hermetic Qabalism, relies on the works like The Qabalah Unveiled, by the 19th century British Rosicrucian S.L. MacCregor Mathers, and a literary legacy of the famous French occultist Eliphas Levi, who allegedly translated some fragments of original Hebrew texts of the Key of Solomon.
Nevertheless, in deceitful darkness of demonic hierarchies dwells a spirit with a human torso, a mule's head, and a peacock tail.
In the Lesser Key of Solomon he is listed among 72 demons of Ars Goetia, and appears as the 65th spirit, a great Marquis of Hell Andrealphus.
And yet there's other name for a seemingly same figure in the hierarchy of Hell – a demon which rules over the opposite sphere to Hod, – Samael.

Samael is the archangel of "severity", residing in the so called World of Creation – Beri'ah and on the other hand, representing likewise the entire Qlipha, ruled by Adramelek:
Collin de Plancy's Infernal Dictionary describes him as the Grand Chancellor of Hell, steward of the wardrobe of the ruler of the demons.
Adramelech is often depicted as challenging even the very concept of any established hierarchy since the power to change appearances emphasizes throughout a different sources as something of great significance, reminding the reader of the Emperor's New Clothes tale:

Belzebub, in turn, is the “Prince Lord of Earth” corresponding to Ghagiel, – a proactive, or if you wish, masculine side of evil on the Tree of Death.
The World of Creation, or Korsia (from Heb. כּוּרסָה - "seat, chair", the Throne) is called the realm of the "Divine Throne".
The Divine Throne of God in the world of Aziluth on the Tree of Life may be viewed as "Union of God" situated in Kether as opposed to Throne of Hell.
Dualistic realm of Thaumiel or in other words "Separation of God" represented here by the two demonic rulers known as Satan and Moloch.
Satan is always seen as The Adversary of God throughout the Bible and Judaism whereas Moloch is ancient Canaanite word for a king and the heathen deity associated with child sacrifices as well as Adramelech.
Nonetheless, Adramelech is more closely related to the ancient Peacock Angel of the Yazidi religion. His adversarial nature resembles more that of Tawûsî Melek hostile attitude towards man and God.
What links Adramelech specifically to Hod opposite is that his name is probably translates as "Magnificent King" and thus it should somehow be mirroring "Splendor of God" on the Kabbalistic Tree of Life.
