Dearest stranger,

I’m Darcy Charlotte Everleigh, writing this at 20 years old. You can call me Darcy or Dee as most people do. Though honestly, whatever nickname you come up with is perfectly okay, I’m sure it’s gonna be just as sweet.

I grew up switching between English and Indonesian, so either language is perfectly fine with me. We can stay in one language the whole time or mix both halfway through.

You don’t have to think too hard about it; just type however you’re comfortable, I’ll just match your energy.

I’m the kind of person who loves sharing the little things, like the random thought in the middle of the day, songs I can’t stop playing, silly stories during class, even a thousand of “you won’t believe what just happened” texts.

Even if we’re miles apart, quality time means the world to me. I love to share playlists, send random selfies, remember the smallest details, and tease the people I care about.

Acts of service and physical touch have a special place in my heart, too.

My music taste is all over the place. Whatever song gets stuck in my head will become my personality for the week.

As for movies and shows, I’m a sucker for romance and mystery. One day I’ll be crying over Love, Rosie, the next I’m trying to solve crimes with SVU, and somehow I’ll always find my way back to Harry Potter, The Vampire Diaries, or Pretty Little Liars.

Before I end this little letter, there’s one important thing I’d like to tell you.

I’m not really comfortable with kisses or “cium” right away. Give me a little time to warm up, slow burns have always been my favorite, anyway.

If kindness and basic respect aren’t your thing, we probably won’t get along.
