THE QUALITIES REQUIRED TO BE A FREELANCE ENGINEER
In addition to your technical skills, to work as a freelance engineer , some essential qualities are required:
- Adaptability : the freelance engineer generally works in project mode. He must therefore be able to adapt to all environments and get used to the idea of having to work for more than 8 hours a day;
- Rigor : an engineer who wants to work freelance must be more rigorous than a traditional worker. He must be organized and meticulous on details, even a perfectionist. He must attach value to respecting the deadlines of his projects;
- Team spirit : despite all his skills, it is almost impossible for an engineer to work alone. He must therefore be able to listen to others, take their opinions into account and test new working methods.
