THE LAZY MOM
Once upon a time there was a lazy mom.
She was so lazy that she didn't even go to the hospital to give birth, but simply had her baby at home.
Her laziness went so far that she decided to stop working in the system and devote herself to her full-time baby. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. She talked about something called “BACK TO THE ROOTS”.
She was so lazy that she gave her baby the breast whenever he asked for it, without ever looking at the time, not every 3 hours or 20 minutes per breast as doctors or media had recommended. She was talking about something called “DEMAND”.
She was so lazy that she held her baby in her arms all day or tied him to her with funny straps she called “baby carriers” where the baby was safe, happy and warm. She talked about something called “CONFIDENCE”.
And she was so lazy that she only gave breast milk for 6 months. Not even a little water, chamomile or aniseed tea. Poor baby! Probably dying of thirst ... She talked about something called “INDIVIDUALITY”.
And she remained so lazy that she didn't let her baby sleep and cry in a crib to “develop his lungs”, but she just let the BABY sleep in bed with her so that she could breastfeed him without getting up and they could both sleep on, quietly and happily. She talked about something called “HAPPINESS”.
She was so lazy that she simply never practiced sitting, standing up or walking with her baby, but let him do everything at his own pace without intervening or forcing. She was so lazy that she didn't even put shoes on him, but let him walk barefoot. She talked about something called “FREE MOVEMENT”.
Yes, she was so lazy that she didn't take it to early stimulation workshops, but only gave it toys from nature and a suitable environment to explore and discover the world for itself. She talked about something called “COMPANION”.
She was so horribly lazy that she didn't force it to go without a diaper or wean from the breast, but patiently waited for everything to happen naturally, without pressure or traumatic methods. She talked about something called “RESPECTFUL EDUCATION”.
And the worst part... she was so lazy that she didn't even listen to those who criticized her and judged her as a “lazy mommy” because she wanted to be happy and love her baby.
