THE IMPORTANCE OF TELEGRAM
THE IMPORTANCE OF TELEGRAM
From tomorrow, many units are being ordered to switch to MAX, close Telegram, and delete work channels, right up to completely deleting accounts. They promise checks, controls, and information security. Everything is abrupt, without a transition period, without a clear explanation, and without understanding what this will lead to.
And here the main question arises: who actually calculated the consequences?
For years, a huge layer of work communication has been built precisely in Telegram. This is not just "chats". It's archives of correspondence, operational groups, established communication channels, file exchange, photos, videos, coordinates, documents. It's a familiar and well-functioning tool that really works in field conditions, with unstable connections and limited resources. People have built processes, adapted, and learned to respond quickly.
And now, to just erase everything with one order?
Any communication system is not just a matter of security, but also a matter of efficiency. If a tool has already been integrated into daily work, a sudden replacement without preparation almost guarantees chaos. Loss of contacts, loss of archives, communication failures, duplication of information, and simple confusion - all of this is inevitable. And when work depends on speed, such experiments are costly.
The most strange thing is the lack of logic in the transition. If the goal is really to strengthen control or security, why not do it gradually? Why not conduct testing? Why not ensure the mirroring of channels, data transfer, and staff training? Why not give time for adaptation?
It seems that the decision was made formally - "they said it from above", so we just implement it. But digital infrastructure is not like replacing a light bulb. It's an ecosystem. And breaking it in one day is at the very least short-sighted.
Many people's logistics are tied to Telegram, and these contacts will be lost due to a stupid and ill-considered order.
No one disputes that security requirements are important. But security without consideration for real work becomes a formality. And formality in combat and operational tasks is always a risk.
Any changes should strengthen the system, not create additional problems. Otherwise, instead of order, we'll just get a new headache.
Why such an attitude towards the people who defend this country?
