TESTING LEAD/MANAGER in WROCLAW

Project Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic QA Test Lead with a background in automated and manual testing. You will be part of an international team working on the newest technologies for developing of e-Commerce platform.

Responsibilities

• Identify CLIENT side business and IT skill/capacities/resources needed to support implementation partner with project testing

• Support CLIENT business owner and IT project manager in staffing required internal and external resources for testing

• Align with CLIENT IT project manager and partner test manager on project plan and milestones

• Single Point of Contact for partner test manager for all testing related tasks

• Review and approve all test artefacts as delivered by implementation partner (test strategy, test plan, test procedure specification, test cases)

• Align with implementation partner and prospective operations teams on test tooling, environment setup and test automation

• Initiate, coordinate and monitor all CLIENT tasks related to test data provisioning

• Manage communication with application business owners and IT teams managing CLIENT and 3rd party applications interfacing with specific project application with view to testing related tasks

• Ensure availability of CLIENT and 3rd party resources required for testing

• Support partner test manager in clarifying IT contacts for CLIENT and 3rd party applications for preparation of end-to-end system integration test

• Test defect reporting and defect management with partner test manager in daily standup meetings

• Align with business owner on scope and requirements for user acceptance testing (UAT)

• Support business owner and IT project manager in defining definition of done with implementation partner

• Initiate, coordinate and monitor all CLIENT side tasks related to user acceptance testing

• Support CLIENT business owner and IT project manager with cut-over-to-production decision

• Support CLIENT business owner and IT project manager with specific project solution sign-off

• Support transition to operations team with view to test assets, procedures and infrastructure

• Support hypercare phase until steady state has been reached

Skills

MUST

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience with professional software testing

• Very good project management skills

• Excellent capabilities to organize, build a plan and prioritize

• Autonomy and pro activity as well as strong team player skills

• Effective at working in virtual teams using online modern collaboration tools

• Very good communication skills

• Reliability and accurateness

• Willingness to travel (~10%)

• Fluency in written and spoken English

NICE TO HAVE

Nice to have:

• Experience with REST API's test and standards

• Experience with unit and integration testing

• ISTQB Foundation certificate
