Border–Gavaskar TrophyThe Border–Gavaskar Trophy (colloquially known as BGT) is an International Test cricket championship played between India and Australia. The series is named after distinguished former captains, Australia's Allan Border and India's Sunil Gavaskar. It is played via Test series scheduled using International Cricket Council's Future Tours Programme. The winner of a Test series wins the trophy. If a series is drawn, the country holding the trophy previously retains it. Given the competitive nature of the India–Australia rivalry and the high standings of both teams, the Border–Gavaskar trophy is considered to be one of the most prestigious bilateral trophies in 5-day cricket. Throughout the history of the BGT, India have maintained competitive success against Australian teams. Out of 17 test series, India have been victorious 10 times, Australia have won 6 times, and one series was drawn. As of January 2025, Australia hold the trophy after they defeated India 3–1 in the 2024–25 series. In competition for the trophy since 1996, Indian Sachin Tendulkar has been the most successful batsman, scoring 3262 runs from 65 innings. Australian Nathan Lyon is the most successful bowler, taking 125 wickets in 54 innings.

Tendulkar–Anderson TrophyThe Tendulkar–Anderson Trophy, formerly known as the Pataudi Trophy, is given to the winner of each Test cricket series between England and India when matches happen in England. It was designed and made by Jocelyn Burton. The trophy was first awarded in 2007 to mark 75 years since the two teams played their first Test match in 1932. India won the first Pataudi Trophy series in England in 2007. The trophy is named after India’s former batsman Sachin Tendulkar and England’s former fast bowler James Anderson. The series follow the International Cricket Council’s future tours programme. The gap between tours can change. A team must win a series to hold the Tendulkar–Anderson Trophy. If the series ends in a draw, the team that already holds the Trophy keeps it.

Anthony de Mello TrophyThe Anthony de Mello Trophy is awarded to the winner of the England-India Test cricket series held in India. The trophy was instituted in 1951, when England toured India for a five-match series. The trophy is named after Anthony de Mello, an Indian cricket administrator and one of the founders of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). When the matches are played in England, the trophy was called as Pataudi Trophy until it was renamed in June 2025 as the Tendulkar–Anderson Trophy.. That trophy was instituted by the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) in 2007 to mark the 75th anniversary of the first England-India Test series held in England in 1932. The trophy was named after the Pataudi cricketing family. In 2012, the Pataudi family requested to make the Pataudi Trophy the winner's prize in India as well as England. However, the BCCI said it would not rename the trophy awarded in India. In 2012, England won the Anthony De Mello Trophy. It was England's first series win in India since 1984–85, India won the series 3–1 in 2020–21 thus qualifying for the 2019–21 ICC World Test Championship final.
