Job Purpose
* The Systems Data Analyst is responsible for the needs of the global data warehouse and business intelligence teams as they rollout and enhance enterprise data solutions to provide effective tools that support overall business strategy and deliver a competitive advantage.
* The role ensures clear communication of business needs and requirements between the product owner, product manager, and the Technology team to support continuous process improvement, frequent delivery of new business capabilities, and user adoption.
Key Accountabilities:
* Proficiency in translating business stories into technical deliverable requirements.
* Proficiency in creating data contracts and performing required data mining to support solution delivery.
* Proficiency in performing ad hoc data analysis and troubleshooting simple data issues independently.
* Manage a variety of tasks concurrently and demonstrate flexibility to meet delivery timeframes.
* Identify process improvements and new techniques to improve team effectiveness.
* Rapidly acquire and apply new business domain and technical knowledge.
* Follow best practices for data analysis in agile teams.
* Actively address internal and external risks, issues, and dependencies for the team.
* Analyze and troubleshoot simple data issues independently, and more complex issues with guidance.

* Experience working effectively in globally distributed delivery teams.
* Effective at applying analysis techniques in a successful technology team delivering enhancements to data warehouses.
* Basic knowledge of relational databases, ETL tools, data conversion, and data cleansing methods.
* Proficiency in SQL to mine, aggregate, and gather data preferred.
* Experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos, Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik preferred.
