1. About Swipify

Swipify ("we," "us") is a dating app that runs as a Telegram bot — you use it through a direct conversation with the bot (/setup, /swipe, /likes, etc.), with some features also available through a Telegram Mini App as an alternative path. Swipify helps users in Indonesia meet new people nearby. By creating a profile and using Swipify, you ("user") agree to these Terms of Service along with our

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years of age or older to use Swipify. Our system structurally rejects any age under 18 during profile setup — whether through the bot conversation or the Mini App.
You must have a valid Telegram account — Swipify authenticates you through Telegram (your Telegram account ID, and for the Mini App path also initData) on every request.
One Telegram account may only be linked to one Swipify profile.

3. Account & Profile

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile (display name, age, gender, preferences, bio, photos).
You must upload at least one photo to complete profile setup. Photos may go through review (automated and/or manual) before they become visible to other users — see §6.
Sharing your location is mandatory during profile setup through the bot — used to show distance and rank nearby profiles (see also Privacy Policy §1).
You can pause your profile at any time to hide it from discovery without deleting your account.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Upload content that is unlawful or contains violence, hate speech, harassment, or the exploitation of minors.
Impersonate another person or create a fake profile.
Use Swipify for fraud, spam, unauthorized promotion, or commercial solicitation.
Attempt to scrape, copy, or exploit other users' data beyond the app's reasonable use.
Harass, threaten, or endanger other users, whether inside or outside the app.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of the photos and text you upload. By uploading them to Swipify, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them to other users solely to operate the service (including automated processing for content moderation).

6. Moderation & Safety

Photos may go through automated checks and/or manual review before they're approved to appear on your profile.
Reporting other users is available both through the bot (the Report button on the swipe deck, /matches, and /likes for Premium users) and the Mini App.
Blocking other users is currently only available through the Mini App — there is no equivalent bot command yet. We're evaluating when this feature will come to the bot.
Blocking someone does not stop them from messaging you through Telegram once you've matched — see Privacy Policy §2 and §4 for why: chat after a match happens directly on Telegram, outside Swipify's control. Also block their Telegram account if you need that.
We reserve the right — at our own discretion — to warn, temporarily suspend, or permanently ban an account that violates these Terms, including based on reports from other users.
An account that receives reports from a number of different reporters within a certain period may be automatically and temporarily hidden (shadowbanned) from discovery while our team reviews it.

7. Payments & Paid Features

Swipify offers optional paid features (e.g. VIP, Premium, Crush packs) purchased as a one-time purchase through QRIS — not an auto-renewing subscription.
Paid features remain active until the expiry date set at purchase, then automatically revert to the free tier.
Prices are shown in Rupiah before payment is confirmed.
Refund policy: an already-active purchase (a feature you've already used) is non-refundable simply because you changed your mind. A full refund is given for: (a) a failed transaction where your balance/tier was never credited, or (b) a system error that caused a duplicate charge (double charge). File a refund claim through the contact in §11 within 7 days of the transaction.
Payments are processed through a third-party gateway provider (Indonesian QRIS). We do not store your card/bank account details.

8. Termination

You may stop using Swipify at any time.
We may suspend or delete your account if you violate these Terms of Service, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation
Data after termination: there is currently no self-service account deletion feature in the app (see Privacy Policy §6) — deletion can only be requested through the contact in §11, processed manually. Once an account-deletion request is approved or an account is permanently banned, your profile, photos, and swipe history are deleted within 90 days. Payment records are retained for 5 years for accounting/tax purposes. Moderation records (reports, admin actions) are retained for as long as needed to enforce access bans.

9. Limitation of Liability

Swipify is provided "as is." We do not guarantee compatibility or the success of any meeting between users, and we are not responsible for interactions that occur outside the platform (including in-person meetings). Use your own judgment and caution when interacting with other users.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Substantive changes will be reflected through a new version, and your agreement to a previous version will no longer be considered valid for the new one.
