Swedish Per Diem & Mileage Rates 2026 — Free Excel Calculator

If you work in Sweden and travel for business, you can claim tax-free per diem (traktamente) and mileage allowance (milersättning). The Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) sets the maximum rates each year. For 2025/2026 the key figures are:

Per diem (traktamente): 220 SEK/day for trips over 12 hours, 110 SEK for half day. Food deduction: 92 SEK/day if food is provided. Mileage: 18.50 SEK/km with your own car.
