Swedes have been sent instructions on how to stock up on drinking water and where to get news in the event of a possible war.
The country's central bank also recommended keeping cash at home so that essentials can be purchased in the event of a crisis.
Each adult was advised to withdraw 1,000 kronor ($100). It was also recommended to get cards from different banks.
