Suspended Whipped
Suspension – a torture that is widespread in all countries. This could achieved in a variety of ways: in the limbs, rope bound through wounds in different parts of the body, as well as genital hooks or penetrating the sides of the abdomen. A weight can be attached to hair and other limbs. If this was not enough to send the victim into remorse, the prisoner was beaten with a whip.
Even in the Ancient times, it was found that, unlike the veins in the legs, the veins of the upper body do not have the valves that prevent the reflux of blood. Medieval inquisitors did not fail to take advantage of this knowledge, using it to punish witches and heretics. The outflow of blood provoked rupturing blood vessels, the contents of the stomach and saliva getting caught in the lungs and respiratory tract. This all led to the man, dangling upside down, to choke. When torture was further prolonged, his eyeballs would burst from the immense pressure., and the victim’s face would be covered in disfigured, gaping holes.
Hooks could be hung on severely deformed skin to inflict horrible damage, as such tortures usually lasted hours. This would leave behind completely torn from gravity’s pull. Zabeline “Stephan Razin” describes the torture as follows: “The torturer’s beloved had legs tied to weights. They hung me, eyes dark, bloodshot, ears knocking. Mishutka is led in shouting, he says he doesn’t know anything, the nurse has hidden away with the gaffer, seeming as though she won’t be punished. I scream that he is lying. That is when they lifted me to the wall and chained me in place of him. I looked at his head as though it were a beer pot. He was later flogged with a vine. He said that he was sorry for me, and brought false charges upon himself. They took him, hung me up again, and threw him onto the floor. I already don’t see anything. They later burn me with a hot iron. By the time the night is over he is gone. Pomer, they save. Where they’ve been sent, I don’t know. I was then stood up to a priest and the governor, and released…”
An interesting fact: Mussolini and his mistress Clara Petacci were executed, along with several of his associates, by way of suspension upside down in Milan in 1944.
Who would have thought that something as banal as suspension could be carried out in thousands of ways? For example, one can be suspended from behind by their dislocated hands. All that they can do is buck their head back and forth to somehow distract themselves from the sharp pain in their shoulders’ joints. The most effective method of torture acquired with the help of suspension — hanging one from their legs, upside down. In this position blood quickly flows to the head, bloody bubbles begin running from the nostrils, and then, in some cases, people’s eyes burst from the enormous pressure. A more refined procedure is possible — the person’s spine pierces through them at shoulder blade level, or below the skin of the breast if this is a woman. A hemp rope is inserted into the wound, and the elasticity of the skin piece is transformed in a way that it doubles as a unit of torture. The rope becomes black from clotted blood, and a person can survive a couple of days, sometimes longer, if given water.
Hooks can be attached to the the skin of the stomach, pierced through the axillary cavity, forced under the pubic bone, under the shoulder blade, and even into the lower jaw. If you position one of these hooks under the right rib, then the offender will dangle like a pig carcass and suffer from pain in their liver. Unlike rope hangings, hooks are designed for a shorter duration of punishment, as they cause a person to bleed out. In cases of botched treatment, damage to vital organs is inevitable.
Here you can see one of the victims of suspension. This unfortunate soul was forgotten in the torture chamber for a few months, and upon being found, their skeleton was left there to intimidate the living.

Why does being whipped affect me in such a different way to being caned? The sensations are certainly very different, but this is not about sensations for me; it’s about the emotions, especially the day/after emotions.
My last caning was too much; it left me shocked by its violence. Let’s put that to one side. Normally a caning leaves me high as a kite, the sense of having survived a trial making me feel strong, powerful and in control of myself. It’s cathartic and renewing.
Yesterday I was whipped. Only three or four times has being whipped been the core of a session, the main event. Today my back is prickling with heat against my shirt and my nipples are so sore I can’t touch them (being whipped wasn’t the only thing I had to contend with).
But it’s the emotional response I recognise from previous whippings. In place of the post caning high-fiving, extrovert, today finds me deep inside myself, all thinky introvert. I’m emotionally thin-skinned, a radio story about a cancer sufferer bringing unwanted tears to my eyes.
I’m 6’2”, a big man, and I feel small; insignificant in the face of the overwhelming flows of emotions arising from having been whipped by my Mistress.
I feel vulnerable and exposed. A bit lost.
It’s happened every time I’ve experienced this type of session, my response the exact polar opposite to that of being caned.

I happened on this page and WOW. I find like souls. I cry out to be tied up, whipped and abused by my wife. She refuses. I have tried pros twice, to no avail. There is something missing when my wife isn’t the dominant aggressor.

I am absolutely helpless. I have been thoroughly whipped to start our session and now I wait for the second round. My breathing is fast as I anticipate what will be next. Our little morality play is always the same. The first whipping is to focus my mind; the second whipping is for much needed punishment. In anticipation, I am terrified of how much she will make it hurt. I wanted to be terrified, but now the metallic taste of fear reminds me how painful it actually will be. The reality of my predicament trumps the fantasy. But I deserve this and need this to quiet the demons.
I have always wanted to get my bare butt whipped with a cord by a female so hard that I cry , but it continues to get whipped across my butt. There is something about the way an implement is used, how the punisher stands and how it has to be manipulated which gives a different feeling and with that different feeling, a different emotion. A loud crack, little noise as it travels through the air. It is an impersonal, unsophisticated tool which efficiently delivers pain and seeks out soft and vulnerable places where the skin is sensitive and unused to violent collision. The tawse does not leave one with elation more a secret smile but somethimes, when too much, tears and remorse and few positive feelings.

More details have emerged of Lara Logan’s terrifying ordeal at the hands of a frenzied mob.
The 39-year-old foreign correspondent for CBS News show 60 Minutes was separated from her film crew in Cairo on February 11 and surrounded by as many as 200 men in Tahrir Square at the height of the anti-Mubarak demonstrations.
According to one source, reported in The Sunday Times newspaper, sensitive parts of her body were covered in red marks that were originally thought to have been bite marks. After further examination they were revealed to be from aggressive pinching.
It has also been revealed that she was stripped, punched and slapped by the crowd, which was labelling her a spy and chanting ‘Israeli’ and ‘Jew’ as they beat her.
Medical sources have revealed that marks on her body were consistent with being whipped and beaten with the makeshift poles that were used to fly flags during the demonstration.
An unnamed friend of the reporter told The Sunday Times: ‘Lara is getting better daily. The psychological trauma is as bad as, if not worse than, the physical injuries. She might talk about it at sometime in the future, but not now.’
CBS News was not revealing any more information about the incident, except to say that she was the victim of a ‘brutal and sustained assault’ at the hands of around 200 men who had been ‘whipped into a frenzy’ on the night Hosni Mubarak resigned from power.
Guards who had escorted her into the square were also badly beaten by the mob, with one suffering a broken hand, and it took women in the square and about 20 soldiers to finally rescue her from her attackers. She was taken to the Four Seasons hotel, where she was treated and sedated by the hotel doctor. Within hours of the attack she was was flown out of the country and spent five days in a New York hospital.
