SuperJobGenie is a job search assistance browser extension. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting user data in strict compliance with the Google Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies and GDPR.

1. Single Purpose Declaration

The single purpose of SuperJobGenie is to assist job seekers by extracting job postings directly from recruitment pages (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor) and computing real-time skills alignment against the user's local profile.

2. Data Collection and Usage

• Resume & Candidate Profile: Stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). It is never sent to external servers without your explicit action.

• Job Post Content: Extracted directly in active browser memory solely to evaluate skills matching and provide recommendations.

• Zero Tracking: We do not harvest personally identifiable information (PII), government IDs, financial credentials, or location data.

3. Permissions Usage

• storage: Used strictly to save candidate profile preferences locally.

• activeTab: Used solely when you click the extension on an active job posting tab to read the job title and requirements.

• host_permissions: Used solely to enable job extraction on supported job platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, Glassdoor).

4. Third-Party Disclosures & Non-Sale of Data

We do not sell, rent, monetize, or transfer your personal data to any third parties. We do not use user data for lending, credit assessment, or targeted advertising.
