Superchick , originally known as Superchic[k] , was an American Christian alternative pop/rock band. Their music incorporated various styles such as pop , punk , rock , rap , and R&B . Their sound has been compared to mainstream artists like No Doubt and Avril Lavigne only with a heavier sound. [1] Superchick has had five songs reach No. 1 on music charts, [1] and their song " Stand in the Rain " held the No. 1 spot for nine weeks on R&R Christian Hit Radio (CHR) chart in 2006/2007.
Superchick made their debut in 1999 at an Audio Adrenaline concert in front of an audience of 5,000. They continued to perform at live events throughout that year.
Superchick self-released their first album in 2000. The album was re-released with three added remix tracks after they signed to Inpop Records , and became their first official album: Karaoke Superstars . Since then, their music has appeared in several movies and television shows, including the 2001 movie Legally Blonde , the 2002 made for TV Disney movie Cadet Kelly , and the 2009 movie To Save a Life . Last One Picked was released on October 8, 2002.
Superchick signed with mainstream record label Columbia Records to promote their 2005 album Beauty from Pain , resulting in their 2006 mainstream debut Beauty from Pain 1.1 . [2] The re-release album contains their signature hit "Stand in the Rain". [2] Their music has received favorable reviews in both Christian and mainstream publications.
On December 4, 2008, Superchick was nominated for their first Grammy Award . The group was recognized in the category of "Best Rock Or Rap Gospel Album" for their 2008 album, Rock What You Got which was featured on ABC Family's Make It or Break It . The band launched their "Hey! Hey! (That's Freedom You Hear)" Tour on April 3, 2009. [3]
On June 7, 2011, lead singer Tricia Brock released her debut solo album entitled The Road .
The group announced that former member Chase Lovelace had died. The memorial took place on May 11, 2013. Matt Dally confirmed that "he [Lovelace] is on the new record". [4] On May 28, 2013, the band posted "This is the Time" written in memory of Lovelace. [5]
On August 11, 2013, Superchick announced on their Facebook page [6] that the band had reached its closing chapter.
In the post, Max Hsu stated: "Everyone has new stories to write: Tricia has another solo record coming out, Dave is touring with Audio Adrenaline, Melissa started Rosebuds East, Matt is busy being a realtor/songwriter/daddy daycare and I've got plenty of projects to finish up, including a ThumpMonks record years in the making". [6] He also confirmed the release of five new tracks in the future featuring Chase Lovelace.
On June 27, 2016, a photo was posted of the band rehearsing for an upcoming reunion show. [7] The band then performed at Lifest on July 9, 2016, which featured the line-up of Tricia Brock, Max Hsu, Dave Ghazarian, Matt Dally, Andy Vegas and Brandon Estelle. [ citation needed ] In an interview at the show posted on YouTube , Brock said that they were asked to perform one last show at the site of their first show. [8] The show was a one-off and also considered as a final concert for the band. It was later posted on Facebook Live. [9]

I got the Deluxe Chicken Sandwich and I tried the Cajun Fries and the Sweet Fries. My favorite was definitely the Sweet Fries, that taste like the fries from Wing Stop and were amazing, but the Cajun fries were also very good. I ordered the regular size of fries and one order of it is more than enough to feed 2 people, as you can see from my pictures below. The Chicken Sandwich was also great with a really nice garlic aioli and some pickles. The only complaint I have about the sandwich is that it started to fall apart and get a little messy, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. They have lots of sauces on the side for you to try, my favorite being their signature sauce, which taste similar to Chick-Fil-A sauce. The staff was super friendly and my food came out quick, hot and fresh. I would definitely come back to Super Chix, and I would recommend this place for others to try.

Drove by and was intrigued, so I stopped for a late lunch. I had the Deluxe - the chicken was great quality and perfectly fried, but I felt it was a bit under seasoned. Even with the garlic aioli and some signature sauce, I was still craving a little more flavor! The fries were delicious, but they give you SO MUCH. They offer a "regular" and it was enough for 2, maybe even 3 people to share. I felt bad throwing half of them away, such a waste of food. Overall, I'd come back - and next time ask for a child's size fry!

I love chicken tenders and I have searched high and low for a good chicken tender or a good nashville hot chicken. This was neither. The tenders are thick, but overcooked and the dipping sauces were ok for the selection provided. The chicken sandwich earns the stars as it was the better meal choice. The fries are handcut fries and are as good as any handcut fries can be.
Good food but crazy expensive. $40 for 2 sandwiches, 2 fries and 2 Pepsis. Not a deal for me. Let's of better chicken at better pricing.
Wasn't really impressed with Super Chix. Tried it once and wouldn't go back again. Definitely room for improvement, the flavor on the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich wasn't as good as other Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches like Rule the Roost Nashville Hot Chicken or Ricky's Hot Chicken.

The chicken was pretty juicy, they have lots of dipping sauces. Food gets very messy. The taste on the custard was just okay The portion sizes are big but the price of this place adds up quick Compared to Chick Fil A or Dave's Chicken etc I would rate those places higher than here Overall, this place isn't amazing but not bad either
Excellent experience! Been coming here for some time now in the last couple of years and today was another tasty experience. Food was hot and up to snuff! Definitely recommend the Nashville hot and rosemary fries.

Very Copt cat hot chicken place. Nothing special or especially spicy . I would suggest passing this place and save your money
I drove 35 minutes to try out Super Chix. The Nashville Hot was out of this world! I added coleslaw to it and had the loaded fries with Cajun seasoning. I also had to try the blackened chicken sandwich and it didn't disappoint although the breaded chicken filet was much thicker. Next time I'll try their custard and their tenders
