You should have seen this coming. There may not be a comic book character that fanboys fawn over more than Harley Quinn . In comics, she's been sexualized to the extreme, often to the point of diminishing a backstory where she is a victim and a tragic character. However, that's frequently not what lusty readers are looking for.
With the release of Suicide Squad just a couple of weeks away, the porn production house Brazzers is making fanboy (and probably some fangirl) dreams come true with a porn parody titled Harley in the Nuthouse . The parody centers on Quinn with a title that plays on the fact that the character is regularly institutionalized and also... umm... nuts.
The release actually plays off the comics more than you might expect, since even a thinly veiled attempt seems like it'd do the trick. It's not as though viewers usually tune in for a plumbing how-to before the lonely housewife disrobes.
Harley is set in Arkham Asylum before Quinn is transferred to Belle Reve Penitentiary, the place where the Suicide Squad is formed. "I think we were all taken with Harley when the first Suicide Squad trailer was released," says Brazzers product director Mario Nardstein. "For us, Harley in the Nuthouse XXX Parody was an answer to our fascination as to how... our beloved Harley Quinn wound up in the same prison as Killer Croc and Deadshot.
"Our answer was simple: she attacked a doctor at Arkham, the very asylum where she worked as Dr. Harleen Quinzel before the Joker roped her into his insanity."
You can't say they don't know their audience. It's faithful to the source material and also includes naked people doin' it. The pornographic parody will be released on August 1, while the actual film is set to hit theaters on August 8. Suicide Squad had an up-and-down opening weekend. After the first wave of reviews -- which weren't overly positive -- the movie started to screen for audience members and fans. And they turned out in droves! Thursday was a huge number, and while business slowed down, the overall total of $135 million was a great first start for the DC blockbuster. What did fans do when they came home from watching Suicide Squad ? Well, stats tell us they searched for superhero-related porn.
That's right. Suicide Squad had a tangible effect on the type of porn that was searched on Pornhub, one of the world's top aggregators of adult content. But the effect of David Ayer's new movie opening was minimal. According to statistics released by the company's Insights division, search traffic on Pornhub for Suicide Squad increased by 1,072% following the movie's debut on Friday, August 5. 1,072 percent!! I mean, just look at this graph:
This prompted Pornhub to dig a little deeper into its analytics. Concluding that many of its users seek to inject pop-culture references into their fantasies, the site broke down search results on Superhero Characters and Teams in its database. To no one's surprise, Harley Quinn (portrayed by Margot Robbie in David Ayer's movie) leads all searched superheroes, and it isn't even close:
Some of the data collected by Pornhub is equally obvious. The company reveals that men are 122% more likely to search for super hero parodies, and that patrons in the 18-to-24 age group are 74% more likely to search on said topic versus all other age ranges.
The impact of Suicide Squad 's success is long-reaching -- and no, that's not a porn pun -- and we haven't stopped feeling the effects of its aftershock just yet. Numbers like the ones posted by Suicide Squad tend to lead to a sequel . However, this movie (like most of DC's movies) cost a lot to make, and the villain ensemble will have to continue to pack them in globally if it hopes to make a tidy profit for Warner Bros. In the meantime, the studio is moving ahead with sequels like Man of Steel 2 , while also developing standalone stories for The Flash and Aquaman. Good thing, according to the above chart, Superman ranks in the Top 5 most-searched superheroes for porn parodies on Pornhub.
Suicide Squad is in theaters as we speak.

Axel Braun apparently never got the memo, that Adult porn-parodies are deader than a doornail. So we have this poorly done, cheapjack takeoff on the mainstream movie issued by Wicked Pictures to a deafening silence out there in video land. It has the usual phony 2-DVD release to try and impress fans, but the second DVD has merely trailers, recycled "Bonus" scenes from other Wicked features, and a paltry 5-minute Behind the Scenes run-through. Embarrassing. Kleio Valentien is impressive in the main role of Harley Quinn, hamming it up entertainingly, but that's the be all and end all of the picture. The rest of the show is consistently poor, from the boring plot, lousy dialog, chintzy sets, meager Green Screen action and crummy special effects. Negative icing on the cake is Tommy Pistol as the Joker, using his stupid voice heard so many times before in "goofy" roles -he's irritating as always. A newcomer named Owen Gray (we see his audition in that BTS too) is poor as the Riddler, bringing basically a big dick to the party and little else, and the femme supporting cast extremely weak: Riley Steele 2.0 offering none of the youthfufl charm she displayed back in her DIgital Playground contract girl days, and Anna Bell Peaks largely kept under wraps (no squirting and even her trademark tattoos largely hidden from sight). Katy Kiss as Poison Ivy is underwhelming to say the least, while Nyomi Banxxx inexplicably is stuck with a NonSex role reciting tons of turgid dialog. Asa Akira, in one of her least interesting assignments for Wicked Pictures, hides behind her mask for the duration.
