I am using google sheets to track each of the contact us submissions.
When someone submits the contact us form, an auto mail is triggered with the subject line “New Form Entry #48704 for Contact Form”. And also, the name,email, description is passed to Google Sheets.
I am able to see that #submission-id is unique and is pre-configured in the auto-mail.
I am wondering how we can pass this #submission-id also into google sheets.?

Hm… I don’t really see a way to do that out of the box right now. But let me check with the Forminator team if we can achive that with some custom code.
Forminator tries first to add submitted data to the Google Sheets before pushing them to the database.
As a result, is impossible to get submission ID at this moment. What I recommend is to, make an SQL query to now what ID the next row will take.
In that way, we get the ID before adding the data to the database.
To make it happen, add a “Hidden” field to the form with a custom label “Submission ID”.
Then add the following snippet to your functions.php file including field’s unique field name (in our example hidden-1).

Hi, can you do the same with other billing details and information such as names and email address?
It seems that you just have to use the forminator_addon_googlesheet_form_submitted_data filter and add a new dimension in the returning $submitted_data array.
We have finally agreed to stick to the auto-mail trigger only to the admin and have stopped sending auto emails to the user in order to avoid complexity in the Contact us -workflow.
This will help us in tracking the Submission IDs without any additional effort.
