He was reportedly trying to jump from his fourth-floor window to a balcony
Stuntman Carlos Lopez has died after an accident in Europe, the managing director of the North Carolina Stuntmen’s Association, who trained with Lopez, confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter .
Lopez’s credits included the movies 22 Jump Street , The Hunger Games: Catching Fire , Michael Bay ‘s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Olympus Has Fallen and the upcoming John Wick and The Nest , starring Tina Fey and Amy Poehler . He also worked on the TV shows Banshee , Boardwalk Empire , Person of Interest and The Vampire Diaries .
Lopez was on vacation in Lisbon, Portugal, when he fell from the fifth floor of the Goodnight Hostel at 4 a.m. Thursday, two local police sources told NBC News . NC Stunts’ managing director Dale Girard tells THR that Lopez’s death seemed to be a nonstunt accident.
Sky News reported that he may have been trying to do a parkour jump from his fourth-floor window to a balcony.
Parkour involves jumping or climbing across buildings to rapidly get from place to place. The practice was highlighted in Madonna’s “Jump” video .
A hostel employee told NBC News that Lopez often spoke of his love of parkour and that Lopez’s girlfriend, who was traveling with him, heard the fall and alerted the staff, who called the police.
Girard says that he trained with the University of North Carolina School of the Arts student, who had moved first to New Orleans and then to New York.
“He was one of he most gifted, positive, loving young men I had the pleasure of working with,” Girard says. “He was very special. This kid was a really good kid.”
The hostel declined to comment to THR while calls to the Lisbon police went unanswered.

Even tho i found a way to keep uploading content in this site, i found myself not wanting to continue here,
not only for getting my original account banned for really stupid reasons,
but also because my twitter its skyrocketing right now, with almost 18k followers...
well, there's also the difficulties of uploading animated content on this outdated site (other than gifs, of course)
