I was in a Soul Cycle class with Lucy once, me in my prime, her beyond her prime. Normally, I have great bone structure, prominent cheekbones, apexed thick brows, positive eye tilt. But next to her, I looked worse than plain, almost ugly. So yeah, she super haloed me.

I found some photos of Margot next to Phoebe Tonkin. In this first one I think she holds up very well (specially considering it's a candid shot and Margot is probably past her prime. a B tier would have been haloed harder!)

I these photos though I think she's being haloed. But not being crushed. What do you think? To me her face looks a bit "frozen". She looks more basic but doesn't look bad. I think how styling in this photo doesn't help as well :/

From looking at these I feel Margot's lips are a bit wider than ideal maybe... I still find her stunning though

She's definitely A tier to me, but I was expecting her to absolutely crush others... and she doesn't. I could be wrong or maybe the pictures you chose aren't the best, but both Aaliyah (B1/A3) & Kerry (B1/A3) hold themselves surpsingly well next to her. I would have placed her at A1, borderline S tier had I not seen these pics.

I think we can see a very interesting phenomenon taking place: While blonde hair and blue eyes do give you a relatively strong halo effect, sometimes it‘s not enough. I found that there are many blondes who look boring and less attractive when being next to a brunette lady with stronger contrast. I think we can observe this here, too. I‘ll just drop the thesis that when two women, a blonde one and a brunette, are approximately in the same tier (with maybe the brunette being a bit higher), the blonde halo loses power. Another example is Scarlett Johannsson and Penelope Cruz. While it may be Scarlet Who you look at first, the longer you look, the less present she seems and the more beautiful Penelope looks. But that could of course just be my personal preference lol. What are your thoughts on this?
