Cialis (Tadalafil) and Viagra (Sildenafil) are two of the most popular types of PDE5 inhibitors that help millions of men worldwide suffering from erectile dysfunction (ED). However, we cannot compare them both because they are both serving two different purposes. Now, we bet you are curious to know more these sex booster magician, we got you covered. If you are in need of an answer to that question, then you’ve come to the right place. Below, andSons puts Cialis and Viagra on the ultimate one-on-one battle to simply find out who walks away as the erection champ.
However, to put Cialis vs Viagra on test we firstly need in-depth knowledge about each of these pills. Taking various aspects like the benefits, side effects, effectiveness, risks and more into consideration, our editorial team have gathered the most comprehensive comparison of Cialis and Viagra backed up science and medically-proven facts. So, read on to find out more.
Both Cialis and Viagra are a family of drugs called PDE5 inhibitors. PDE5 (Phosphodiesterase type 5) is a type of enzyme which blocks out the blood flow to the penis through a chain reaction involving other molecules, which lead to weak erection. Viagra and Cialis work by blocking PDE-5, which in return encourages blood easy blood flow to the penis. These drugs also release nitric oxide in your body which can keep your erection long.
One of the key differences between these drugs is the time span to hold the erection . Cialis is a selective, long-acting oral PDE5 inhibitor. It can generally stay in your body for up to 36 hours but how long you can maintain an erection depends on your body. Viagra, on the other hand can keep your fella up for about 30 minutes. Cialis lasts much longer and for that reason you may feel the effects of it up to 36 hours or more after consumption. Viagra on the other hand, leaves the body in about 4 hours.
Another difference between these two pills is how to consume them. Both pills have to be taken around 30 minutes or so before your sexual activity and their effectiveness are equally the same. Cialis can be taken before or after meal as its effectiveness isn’t affected by food. Whereas Viagra works best on an empty stomach as a high fat meal can diminish or slow down its effectiveness.
Cialis in general comes in a low-dose (2.5 mg) and 20mg is often used for ED purpose which makes it an ideal sex booster for daily consumption. A daily dose will keep the drug always in your system. You can also take Cialis whenever you need instead of daily, it’s up to you. Do not take more than one dose a day as it leads to complications like headache and indigestion.
Viagra is not meant for daily use and must only be taken on an as needed basis, Generally Viagra comes at a dose of 50mg, but you can increase it up to 100mg or decrease it two 25mg depending on your needs. Like Cialis, Viagra should only be taken once a day as any overdose can lead to unwanted conditions like headache, nausea and more.
Well, they both are extremely safe if taken in the right way, If you suffer from issues like hypertension or are currently on medications with high nitrates content then, you should not use Cialis or Viagra. When PDE5 inhibitors mix with nitrates it can cause a huge drop in your blood pressure and lead to serious health issues. You should avoid taking these ED pills when you are drunk. The combination of alcohol and a PDE5 inhibitor can lead to orthostatic hypotension. Also, if you have any allergies to any of the ingredients in Viagra or Cialis, then it is best to skip on them.
Just like most medications, Cialis and Viagra come with their own sets of side effects. Some of the most common side effects of both these pills are indigestion, muscle or back pain. The less common side effects of Viagra and Cialis are increase in heart beats, blurred or sudden vision loss, ringing in ears or hearing loss, seizures, or swelling. These side effects vary depending on the person and the dosage.
Common side effects of Cialis and Viagra includes:
But do not worry, in general both Cialis and Viagra are non invasive drugs hence the side effects are mild and do not last long. However, if you experience any of the side effects or have an erection that lasts longer than four hours, get medical help right away. This condition, known as priapism, a prolonged erection of the penis that is often painful. Do take note, priapism is a risk associated with all types of ED drugs.
Clinical trials show that Cialis and Viagra are both equally effective with more than 80% of success rate in helping men to achieve satisfactory erections. Both medications have equal efficiency in producing a noticeable improvement in erection quality. But of course, this differs based on the dosage and how well your body reacts to these drugs.
Tbh, there’s no real winner in the Cialis vs Viagra battle. Both these drugs work well when it comes to treating ED. The only thing that sets them apart is the your need. If you need something that can last you the whole weekend for sex then Cialis is the better option for you. If you prefer a something that can hold you up for one amazing night then go for Viagra.
When evaluating treatment options for ED , it is always important to seek professional advice. There are guidelines that take into account patient and partner satisfaction, as well the safety and efficacy of a particular treatment modality. All things considered, both Cialis and Viagra were shown to exhibit almost equal levels of efficacy, safety and satisfaction in the treatment of ED.

is there something stronger than viagra
one of the most common is the one that you listed viagra if you continue to have this problem and this medication is not effective then I think if it were me then I would discuss this with you medical doctor or Urologist, I really believe that suggesting something other than what the doctor has you may have other problems along with this or you may be on a medication that renders this ineffective, bottom line I just want the very best for you, giving you the wrong advice is the last thing either I or anyone else on here would want to do please take good care and be safe
The treatment and what's best for your erectile dysfunction depends on the cause of problem. Please discuss other options with your doctor.

If you have ever thought of using Viagra (Sildenafil) to help strengthen your erection or make it last longer, then think again. Known to increase the blood supply to the blood vessels of your penis, the little blue pill has a number of side effects like headaches and painful erections. What's more this drug should not be used if you have heart disease.

But if you'd still like to use something to give your erection a boost, here are some herbs that work just as well.

A herb used in Chinese medicine , ginseng contains a compound called ginsenoside that acts on the body the same way as Vigra, sans the side effects. In fact, according to a study[1] conducted in 2002, men who had ginseng for eight weeks showed better results than those who merely took a placebo. Even though, the herb doesn t show immediate results like Viagra, using it for a period of time has been known to improve sexual performance. Found only in China, epimedium has around 50 species and extracts from some of them are believed to have aphrodisiacal properties. Icaarin, a flavonoid present in these plants is believed to boost sexual performance and is present in many herbal supplements. Like Viagra, Icaarin also works by inhibiting an enzyme called PDE5 in the penis. You may also like to read about yoga asanas to beat erectile dysfunction.
Saw palmetto is a wonder herb used for treating many ailments, especially prostate enlargement and urinary tract infections. Even though, it s efficacy as an impotence drug has not been established it is considered good for sexual health as an enlarged prostate or any urological ailment can seriously hamper a person s desire and performance.

Derived from the bark of pausilinia yohimbe, this herb has proven to be useful in treating erectile dysfunction. The herb works as a sexual stimulant by blocking alpha-2 andrenergic receptors and improving blood flow to the penis. Additionally, it helps in the production of the chemical norepinephrone which in turn helps in getting an erection.

A drug called yohimbine hydrochloride has been approved by the US FDA for treating erectile dysfunction.

Growing only in some parts of China, ginkgo bilboa works as an aphrodisiac by improving blood circulation in your body. Most erectile dysfunction issues are caused due to lack of blood supply to the penis, and increasing blood circulation in the body should be the number one agenda for people suffering from the ailment. Besides this, gingko bilboa also helps in easing anxiety related problems that lead to ED. You may also like to read: Is there a Viagra-like drug for women? )

Sometimes, manufacturers just add some herbs to regular Viagra and sell it as herbal Viagra. Be wary of such products.
