They are extremely rude and made us wait in-line still after they denied us. By far worst club in paris if I could give it negative stars I would. We tried to go back and they called the police on us because we were American. They started saying very hurtful things to us and physically started pushing us again. I would never recommend this club even to my worst enemy. Don't waste your money on this club at all. By far the worst one in paris."

Believe it or not, there is actually a book published with all these types of establishments throughout France . Only I can't remember the name of the book. I'm sure you can find it on Amazon. I saw it in an airport bookstore at CDG once, not too long ago.
I think if you do an Internet search on the subject, you will find lots of reviews.
Also, a while back, a similar question was asked on this forum. If you search adult night club, or something along those lines, you might come up with the thread. It was quite informative.
Just a word of warning - please read forum member "signothetimes53" 's tragicomic story about his visit to a strip club:
I would be sure to pick a classy establishment, even if it is more expensive, e.g. CRAZY HORSE , 12 Avenue George V (close to Champs Elysées).

redranger - just for you to consider before actually booking the event.
I am not sure that I would be so openminded and easygoing as to accept witnessing my husband getting aroused by an exotic dancer who is most likely younger and in better shape than most housewives. I think I would be very jealous and would find it hard to "foregive" him - even if it does not result in actual physical infidelity, you would still have to live with the image of your husband lusting for someone else.
But we are all different - so maybe you have already thought about this.
We enjoyed Crazy Horse Show... for another suggestion.

It feels as if the Crazy Horse show is a bit more tasteful, the classic Paris -show (Lido, Folies Bergère, Moulin Rouge ): "pretty girls, incredibly long legs, bare breasts, thongs and ostrich feathers".
To me "The Stringfellows" looks one step to close to a bona fide liveshow:

Gittek: I was agreeing with you about Crazy Horse ... we have never been to Stringfellows.
I went to a show at the Crazy Horse last year. It is definitely classier than your ordinary strip joint. The girls have routines and try to put on a show whereas in a strip joint they just dance and take their clothes off. Also, at the Crazy Horse you sit in long rows theatre style. I have no idea how the other places are. I didn't eat dinner at the Crazy Horse but I heard from my French friend that it wasn't very good.
