Go to your plugins and search for word press classic, this reverts it back to the old style. I had the exact same issue and this corrected it in 1 min

When I next get on my PC i will check to see if I downloaded it as a plugin, pretty sure I did and might have uploaded it that way.
I got it fixed, you can just revert it back to classic in the menu. xD
