Stop-loss near extremes

Stop-loss near extremes

Apitrade

The "Stop loss near extremes" function in the "Hurricane" futures grid-bot automatically places a stop loss on the exchange behind the last minimum (for long bots) or maximum (for short bots). You can, at your discretion, choose the period during which (until the current time) the system will determine the minimum or maximum, for example, for 6 hours, 24 hours, 2 days, 3 days, 7 days, etc.

When the minimum increases, the system will move the stop loss higher, if the maximum decreases, the system will move the stop-loss lower.

Stop-losses are placed on the exchange in the form of stop market orders triggered at the last price or at the mark price (user's choice), with the option to reduce the position.

For each bot, it is possible (and recommended to reduce risks) to include both a stop-loss behind the last low and a stop loss behind the last high.

You can specify a deviation, for example 1%, then the bot will place opening orders 1% higher than the extremum. If you specify a deviation of -1%, then the order will be placed 1% below the extremum. For example, if you want to place a stop loss 1% below the low, then you would specify a deviation of -1% (minus 1%). Putting stop-losses behind the last low is recommended when buying long fast-growing coins, as well as in the absence of a hedge short.
