Hey r/sex (am I doing this right?),
So, squirting. Some say it's pee, some say it's not pee. I just want to know how to stop it. It basically started the second time I tried experimenting with my clitoris and since then, has happened almost every single time. If I stimulate a certain spot or am building up my arousal, it happens. The only times it doesn't happen is when I cut my masturbation session short, right when I feel the pressure coming along, which is frustrating for me.
And, cleaning up afterward is cumbersome, to say the least. I'll try peeing beforehand (if it's even pee, doesn't smell/look like it though), but I still have multiple and drawn out bursts during masturbation. It's just a complete, annoying mess and I'm done.
Has anyone been able to stop it, or can at least successfully control it? Thank you!

As a fellow squirter, I don't have any shame about this. But I sure would love to be able to choose when it's going to be a deluge, instead of dealing with it every damn time.
Maybe try edging or a completely different style of masturbating? People can learn to squirt, people can learn to orgasm without squirting. More experiments!

I once had a partner like this. We bought a waterproof mattress cover.
I use bath towels (1 folded or 2), but it tends to seep through into my bedding, or it wets me in the process.
The way I learned how was to stop stimulation the instant you start coming. Kinda sucks but still you'll get off. Eventually it gets easier to control.
The thing is, squirting for me is a "byproduct" of arousal--it's on the way to an orgasm, but it doesn't have to accompany one/isn't there yet. So, I stop well before I can even orgasm, which is hella frustrating.
So when I first started masturbating, it was by grinding against something, and I would always soak myself. I didn't know what squirting was at the time. All I knew was I made an absolute mess of my jeans. I ended up making sure I wore a menstrual pad when I masturbated; grinding took a bit more effort to get the same stimulation through a pad, but cleanup was SO much easier.
Tldr; if you get off by grinding, you could wear a pad

When that's said, try masturbating while on all fours or other positions. Some positions are harder to squirt in than others.
Personally I don't squirt if I just use a vibrator. Basically start using the vibrator when I'm not even aroused, get to an orgasm with very little actual arousal very quickly, then stop.
Oh, interesting. For me, whether I use a vibrator or just my fingers, it happens. Not sure for which situation it happens more quickly, however.
Peeing isn't going to do anything to stop it. It forms in glands around the urethra, while you are aroused.
You can constrict your kegel muscles and take a small break when you feel it is about to happen. That stops it.
Believe me, it is not pee. There is a definite taste difference. Pee has a ton of dissolved nutrients and toxins that are being actively transported out of the body. Squirts are basically salt water. Maybe try kegels? I'm just taking a wild guess with that.
As for helping cleanup, put some big towels down beforehand. Or do it in the shower/tub.

I've heard a lot about that, I know it's often recommended for women after childbirth. Granted, I haven't had sex yet (and inserting anything more than an inch when aroused is just too much right now), but it's definitely worth a try when I can build myself up to it.

I'm the same way. I don't mind it though. Just a little extra clean up and sometimes an unavoidable giant wet spot. Could be worse.
