In the small town of Maplewood, the news of IRS stimulus checks spread like wildfire. Everyone was excited—except for Mr. Jenkins, the grumpy old man who owned the local hardware store.

'Bah! Another government handout,' he muttered, flipping the 'Closed' sign on his shop.

Meanwhile, Lila, a struggling college student working part-time at the diner, checked her bank account—$1,200! She gasped. 'This could cover my textbooks… and maybe even next month’s rent!'

At the town meeting, Mayor Thompson announced, 'The stimulus checks are real, folks! Spend wisely!'

But the next day, chaos erupted. Dave, the town’s self-proclaimed 'financial guru,' had convinced half the town to invest their checks in 'LlamaCoin,' a cryptocurrency he invented. 'It’s the future!' he declared.

Lila hesitated but decided to save hers. Mr. Jenkins, however, scoffed and buried his check in his backyard—'Just in case the economy collapses.'

Weeks later:

LlamaCoin crashed (turns out, Dave’s 'tech startup' was just a PowerPoint).

Lila used her money to pay off debt and even helped a neighbor in need.

Mr. Jenkins’ dog, Rusty, dug up the check and chewed it to shreds.

The mayor sighed. 'Maybe next time, we’ll just give out gift cards.'

Moral of the story?

Stimulus checks = good.

LlamaCoin = bad.

Dogs money = disaster.
