Startup as Thesis

Startup as Thesis is a new graduation thesis format available for ITMO Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Specialist’s students. 

The format includes an assessment of business projects and the state final examination. Projects are evaluated by outside experts, including mentors, representatives of specialized companies, entrepreneurs, and investors.

Within four months, students work on their startups and receive assistance in the following aspects:

✔️technology;

✔️intellectual property;

✔️market;

✔️team;

✔️finance;

✔️business valuation;

✔️risk management.

Students expand their knowledge in the listed fields by participating in brief modules, which are held twice a year (at the beginning and at the end of the year).
