This guy was flirting with me and during our meeting we were sitting opposite each other with his feet facing towards me. I was shaking my feet a lot and I noticed him starring at my feet a few times ( I was wearing skinnies and flats) and then he I caught him staring at me a couple times and my chest But anyways why would he be staring at my feet?

I would be wondering what your feet look like, and what color your toenails are painted, if you're wearing any cute toe rings, are your feet tired and a little sweaty, etc. I would wonder what your flats smell like inside from your feet, and what your feet smell like. Probably a sexy smell, and it would be awesome to have a chance to find out and maybe give you something in return, like a nice foot massage. But since most girls would find this gross and disgusting, I would have to keep my attraction to your feet to myself. How do you think the guy would have responded if you placed your flats and your feet on the floor and slid your feet out of your flats and wiggled your toes, intentionally letting him see them? You could try it next time. If his eyes get really big, looking at your feet and toes and he can't stop staring, he probably has a fetish for your feet. If he loses control and gets down on the floor at your feet and flats and starts smelling them and kissing them, then I would say that he has a fetish.
I just like looking at feet and commenting in my head how bad they are haha. No offence but i hate feet, i look at them to comment how disgusting they are. Im just weird but some guys people stare to see what's bad about them.

Human beings are masters at sizing other human beings up in a matter of seconds, quickly determining whether they find a person attractive or trustworthy .
But what exactly do people tend to look at while they’re making these rapid assessments? Turns out it depends on whether they’re looking at the person as a potential romantic partner or a platonic friend — at least according to a new study in the Archives of Sexual Behavior .
Researchers at Wellesley and the University of Kansas tracked the eye movements of 105 heterosexual undergraduate students while they looked at photos of men and women, and answered questions about whether they were interested in possibly dating the strangers or becoming friends with them.
The researchers found that men and women looked at different areas of the body, depending on what type of relationship they were potentially interested in.
“We found some gender differences across the board that apply to both friendship and romance, and some differences in which body regions people look at for friends versus dating,” one of the authors of the study — Angela J. Bahns , an assistant professor in the department of psychology at Wellesley College — tells Yahoo Beauty.
When making a judgment about a potential friend, men and women looked at the same areas — namely, they looked at a person’s legs and feet more, according to Bahns. “If you’re looking at legs and feet, you’re especially unlikely to be making a judgment of dating potential,” she says. “Those cues [looking at feet] are uninformative for judging romantic potential. They are not sizing you up for romance.”
But when men are potentially interested in a romantic partner, the researchers found that they’re more likely to focus on a woman’s torso, while women tend to focus on the man’s face. “Men were more likely to look at the waist and hips, which lines up with a lot of evolutionary theories about sizing up reproductive fitness,” notes Bahns. “Women are more likely to look at the head and face. We think that’s probably about facial symmetry — cues for facial fitness and health. They are ways people search for meaningful information from social cues.”
Bahns adds that what parts of strangers’ bodies people look at “is directly influenced by their relational goal.”
The researchers weren’t surprised that men tended to focus on women’s waist and hip region, while women generally targeted men’s faces, but there was one unexpected finding: “We actually looked at people’s answers in how interested they were in being friends with the person and dating them and how that matched up with their looking at them [via eye-tracking technology],” says Bahns. “For the most part, they matched up. But there was one exception — when men looked at faces for a long time, they were actually less interested in a person.”
Explains Bahns: “It may be that men are looking at faces with a critical gaze, and that looking for a long time could actually be a bad indicator of interest — that something seems off to them and they’re trying to figure it out. It’s a little unsettling.”

Yeah, you're right, if I revisit the original post and my answer. I didn't think it over and didn't write that clear so for a second reading it's quite confusing. I only wrote this as an experimental option in the future, if this situation will remain in his adult life (yeah, but I left that out from my previous post, very successfully) I read many confessions on the net, by adult people, who alienated and felt shamed and regreted because their fetishes. I read a similar story on the internet, where the mother realized that she alienated from her adult son, and he did from her as well, due to a very similar situation, because she was freaked out from her sons behaviour. So, I wrote these options as an experimental idea, if the situation will remain, and this guy will develop an antisocial lifestyle. And I wrote these things more in a symbolic way to tear down the emotional walls between them, rather than meant by word.
But hopefully he can manage this crisis by live out his interests with a girlfriend. And I don't think she (the mother) would ever tried these things I wrote, no mother would do that at normal circumstances. Sorry if my post was misunderstoodable, I hope no one took that post as a direct advice.

Hey everyone! This is my first post on this forum so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Emma and I have a son named Gavin who is 14 years old. He is a great kid. He plays sports, gets good grades, is pretty social etc. but recently I have noticed him looking at my feet. One time I was on the coach with my feet up and he went to the other couch and was pretending to be on his phone but the way he was sitting was odd. I think he might have took a picture of my feet! Why would he want to look at my feet and possibly even take pictures? I like to go get pedicures, paint my toes, and wear sandals but I have felt weird around him when I do and I don't know why. I have a daughter and I have never noticed her look at my feet like him. Am i going crazy? Have you ever noticed your son take pictures of your feet?? Why would he want to do that?

I don't know if this topic is still accurate but I just read your post and have many thoughts about it that can help. Your son probably have a foot fetish. Foot fetish in itself is an innocent thing. It can be the part of natural, healthy sex life in adulthood. The problem comes if someone develops an inappropriate behavior around it. Your son obviously find your feet attractive. There is no problem with that. But if he only take pictures and then watching them alone without discuss it anyone he can develop an antisocial behavior. Why?Because he may think that foot fetish is taboo, feeling guilt and builds the habbit: foot fetish is something that should be done secretly. Taking pictures is the only 'legal' way to have foot fetish. And it can lead to porn addiction, low self esteem and sneaky personality.
So what to do. Make him to share his thing with you. Not only talk about it but let him staring your feet in real. He has to be confirmed that you let him to do that. Its even better and more helpful to him if sometimes you take the first step. How ? Choose an appropriate time, bare your feet and show up your soles to him. Just let him to watch them. Tell him that he can staring them from close, examine them, touch them even to smell them, if he wants. So he can experience what feet like in their real, natural way, so he can distance it from staring at pics. You can also talk with him about your feet: what are his experiences, what feelings he has when do this and which is his favorite part (toes, soles, ankles). If you let him share these things he won' t think about his foot fetish as a taboo, he won't distance himself from you and the surrounding world and will be able to live his partner life natural and without any guilt. Try this ;-)
