Hey everyone! This is my first post on this forum so I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Emma and I have a son named Gavin who is 14 years old. He is a great kid. He plays sports, gets good grades, is pretty social etc. but recently I have noticed him looking at my feet. One time I was on the coach with my feet up and he went to the other couch and was pretending to be on his phone but the way he was sitting was odd. I think he might have took a picture of my feet! Why would he want to look at my feet and possibly even take pictures? I like to go get pedicures, paint my toes, and wear sandals but I have felt weird around him when I do and I don't know why. I have a daughter and I have never noticed her look at my feet like him. Am i going crazy? Have you ever noticed your son take pictures of your feet?? Why would he want to do that?

I don't know if this topic is still accurate but I just read your post and have many thoughts about it that can help. Your son probably have a foot fetish. Foot fetish in itself is an innocent thing. It can be the part of natural, healthy sex life in adulthood. The problem comes if someone develops an inappropriate behavior around it. Your son obviously find your feet attractive. There is no problem with that. But if he only take pictures and then watching them alone without discuss it anyone he can develop an antisocial behavior. Why?Because he may think that foot fetish is taboo, feeling guilt and builds the habbit: foot fetish is something that should be done secretly. Taking pictures is the only 'legal' way to have foot fetish. And it can lead to porn addiction, low self esteem and sneaky personality.
So what to do. Make him to share his thing with you. Not only talk about it but let him staring your feet in real. He has to be confirmed that you let him to do that. Its even better and more helpful to him if sometimes you take the first step. How ? Choose an appropriate time, bare your feet and show up your soles to him. Just let him to watch them. Tell him that he can staring them from close, examine them, touch them even to smell them, if he wants. So he can experience what feet like in their real, natural way, so he can distance it from staring at pics. You can also talk with him about your feet: what are his experiences, what feelings he has when do this and which is his favorite part (toes, soles, ankles). If you let him share these things he won' t think about his foot fetish as a taboo, he won't distance himself from you and the surrounding world and will be able to live his partner life natural and without any guilt. Try this ;-)

Yeah, you're right, if I revisit the original post and my answer. I didn't think it over and didn't write that clear so for a second reading it's quite confusing. I only wrote this as an experimental option in the future, if this situation will remain in his adult life (yeah, but I left that out from my previous post, very successfully) I read many confessions on the net, by adult people, who alienated and felt shamed and regreted because their fetishes. I read a similar story on the internet, where the mother realized that she alienated from her adult son, and he did from her as well, due to a very similar situation, because she was freaked out from her sons behaviour. So, I wrote these options as an experimental idea, if the situation will remain, and this guy will develop an antisocial lifestyle. And I wrote these things more in a symbolic way to tear down the emotional walls between them, rather than meant by word.
But hopefully he can manage this crisis by live out his interests with a girlfriend. And I don't think she (the mother) would ever tried these things I wrote, no mother would do that at normal circumstances. Sorry if my post was misunderstoodable, I hope no one took that post as a direct advice.
I think some moms just have beautiful feet.my mom did and I would stare at them constantly.it never went away.it still is my every thought.maybe a obsession.never sought help. THE EMBARESSMENT .been 40 years.and is still super intense obsession
I think if I was you I’d would of made him lick my feet and suck my toes then see how interesting he thought they were lol
