Alpha Patch 3.9.0n has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test!  Patch should now show: VERSION 3.9.0-PTU.5042794.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

Known Issues

All ships are destroyed when spawned at Area18. W/A: Avoid Area18 for now.

FOIP animations are not transmitting to other players.

A crash will occur when going into the options menu from the Hangar or Arena Commander.

Missiles and Torpedoes launched beyond 1000 meters may not reach their target.

Players can get stuck in a loading screen upon leaving prison.

Prison suit loadouts are saved after the player exits prison.

Prison suit loadouts can be saved if a user exits the PU and enters the hangar.

The KC Trending shop keeper stands idly and doesn't not interact with the player.

Karoby energy bars are missing from all locations.

Ships outside of New Deal lack interaction prompts.

Ground vehicles can not be spawned from ASOP terminals.

Changes to the character model do not always persist into the PU.

An extra, static train may appear at Area18, Lorville, or New Babbage.

Unmanned turrets do not fire at the player if they have a crimestat.

All Platinum bay outposts are missing ASOP terminals.

Its possible to get the contact notification window stuck behind the main menu.

Being in a large party causes markers to not display correctly while inside a ship.

Increased the brightness of the exterior lights around Levski.


Gameplay

Updated the order of the widgets on the Player Status readout.

Rebalanced the mining merit rewards for various crystals in prison.

Dying within a short distance of any active law enforcement or bounty hunter will now send criminals to prison.

Players can now exit any bed using basic (WASD) movement keys.

Various audio improvements to FPS hit markers sounds, vehicle sounds, and various FPS audio.

Active missions will now fail when the player is sent to prison.

Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue that could cause the Tumbril Cyclone to get destroyed if it has cargo and is loaded into another ship while in quantum.

Fixed the Character model not being posed correctly while seated in mining turret seat of the Argo Mole.

Fixed an issue on the Carrack that could cause the maneuvering thruster VFX to remain even when the engines are off.

Fixed an issue that could sometimes cause the "add contact" text box on the front menu to not be able to be clicked on.

Fixed prison shank hand position so it no longer clips through the handle.

Fixed an issue causing NPCs to get stuck walking indefinitely into walls and railings.

Fixed an issue causing NPCs to freeze in place for a couple seconds after exiting a usable animation.

Fixed missing ambient audio in Lorville's Central Business District main hall.

Fixed an issue causing the Multi-Tools laser to not automatically turn off after breaking apart a rock.

The floor around areas of Centermass in Area18 should now have collision.

Fixed an issue causing various ship sounds to remain in an area after a ship has exploded.

Fixed an issue causing ship weapons and mining lasers to reactivate and fire on their own right after a player ends firing.

Repair, refuel, and restock should now work at Port Tressler.

Fixed an issue where a player would teleport or flail when standing back up after a takedown.

Only criminals should be sent to prison.

Ruto's hologram should once again be operational.

Players should no longer be able to break the weapon attachment UI by entering 3rd person view.

Hadenite should now be obtainable within the prison work mines.

NPC guards in hangars should no longer collide with landed ships.

AI ship escorts for the Hijacked Caterpillar mission should now engage the player if they don't have a crimestat.

Fixed an issue causing some shop items to be not interactable.

Fixed 4 client crashes.
