Alpha Patch 3.9.0c has been released to Evocati, and is now available to test!  Patch should now show: VERSION 3.9.0-PTU.4819672.

It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizen\PTU.

Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus". Please issue council all issues related to those in testing focus and in general gameplay. Prisons are incomplete and not a pleasant experience. Avoid committing a crime, if you accidentally do please reset your character or recopy your account.

We want to collect data on various server crashes and will may leave the build up for 5 or 6 hours.

Known Issues

Warning UI messages don't display if the ship is in mining/extraction mode.

Alt-tabbing may cause a crash.

Duplicate trains appear at all locations which may prevent using them.

FPS mining inner thought may not allow stowing additional crystals/havestables after stowing an initial one.

Laser modifiers arent' updated on the ship's HUD/UI until the player turns off mining mode and turns it back on.

All food has 2 buying options.

Items can't be purchased using mobiGlas.

After a ship is destroyed the debris will vanish quickly and abruptly.

Ground vehicles can't be spawned at some ASOP terminals.

Some food and drink is missing from ship inventories

The commodity kiosk doesn't allow players to drop down their ship list.

Being in a large party causes markers to not display correctly while inside a ship.

Centermass at Area18 has no collision.

If the player exits to main menu while in a bed that bed will become unusable until the ship is destroyed.

The Carrack is unable to take off after using auto-land at an outpost/hangar.

Players are unable to log-out in the Carrack's top bunks.

The player loses atmosphere in multiple places aboard the Carrack.

The laser modifications aren't updated on the ship's HUD/UI until the user turns the mining mode off and back on and re-enters the pilot/mining turret seat.

Levski ATC is currently not functioning correctly.

One of the AI is stuck behind a wall at UGFs.

If the player swaps undersuits while wearing armor, they will drop equipped items.

Some guards at Lorville will appear hunched and erratic.

Mining mode can get into a state where it flickers between targeted and untargeted.

The character customizer will occasionally become unresponsive.

Comm call screen appears translucent.


Feature Updates

Locations

Removed the extra side numbers for floors on the Elevator panels.

Added a 10th floor into the New Babbage habs.

Further lighting, LOD, and dressing polish pass around New Babbage landing zone interiors.

Updated New Babbage Aparelli shop Mannequins and shop displays with clothing and purchase prices.

Various fixes for flickering textures around New Babbage.

Adjusted atmosphere density for ArcCorp and Hurston.

Adjusted prop locations inside landing zone hangars to no longer interfere with landed ships.

Polish pass on derelict crash sites to fix placement, LOD, and collision issues.


Gameplay

Added infraction to immediately impound player ships that collide with ships with the right to be within a landing area.

Shifted the threshold to obtain lvl 4 and 5 crime stats.

Added derelict missions around Microtech and its moons.

Added the ability to right click on an option on the personal inner-thought system and manually save something to favorites.


Ships and Vehicles

Returned missiles to tap to lock, hold to launch and added a keybind (not bound by default) for unlocking.

Polish to LODs on the Anvil Carrack.


Bug Fixes

Armistice zones around surface outposts should now correctly function.

Fixed many areas around Habs, citation kiosks, and Aspire Grand information desk in New Babbage being exposed to outside temperatures.

Purchasing food and drink items should no longer give a shop service error.

Players should no longer get stuck to Wally's bar when walking near it in New Babbage.

Fixed an issue where the Player was unable to Equip their Fists or the Combat Knife if they are holding a stowable item in one hand.

Fixed multiple derelict ship sites floating above the ground.

Fixed an issue that was causing the Avenger bed to not have interaction.

Players should no longer become trapped if multiple of them set their ICU to the same bed and die at the same time.

New Babbage hab door control panels should no longer float in air when opening the door.

Fixed an issue with FOIP where the player's comms camera could be offset and not facing the player.

Fixed an issue that would cause the player to spin in place when inspecting a weapon in hand.

Fixed interaction with the Double Beds in the Origin 600i Touring.

Fixed female character models not sitting down while using the Pisces jump seats.

Fixed missing stools in the Million Mile High Club.

Players should no longer be able to see out into the game world near G-Loc bar at Area18.

Carrack turret joysticks should now correctly move while the player rotates the turret.

Carrack upper command ship controls should now have a HUD.


Technical

Fixed 3 client crashes.

Fixed 5 server crashes.
