Alpha Patch 3.3.0h has been released to the PTU, and is now available to test! Patch should now show: PTU-954930.

 It is strongly recommended that players delete their USER folder for the Public client after patching, particularly if you start encountering any odd character graphical issues or crash on loading. The USER folder can be found (in default installations) at C:\Program Files\Roberts Space Industries\StarCitizenPTU\LIVE.

 Please monitor Evocati spectrum for updates and testing instructions.

 Note: This patch does not contain all of the intended features, which will be added iteratively to the notes as they become available. Additionally, some features may be implemented in a partial state and as such are not ready for testing. When those features reach a playable state they will be detailed on the notes and added to the "Testing Focus".

 

Testing Focus

   Reworked Mustangs

  Cyclone variants.

  Manned turrets.

  New default ship loadouts.

  Changes to ship cannons.

  Power management, overpower, and overclocking ship systems and components.

 

Major Known Issues:

   Switching to or using the MFD comms will cause a client crash. W/A: Don't use or switch to the "comms" MFD.

  Levski landing pads are covered and hidden collision can trap players in customs. W/A: Avoid Levski.

  Players may appear to spawn in space upon respawn. W/A: Wait, the game will load you into the bed (clipping) and you can suicide to reset.

  Text Field 40 will sometimes show on the Crusader launch menu and prevent players from joining. W/A: Wait 5 minutes on the launch menu and it will update properly.

  Elevators are missing audio.

  The group system is undergoing an update and is currently not functioning correctly.

  Arena Commander's loadout and ship selector is undergoing a rework to include ship rental functionality and may not be fully function as is.

  Airlocks lack lighting.

  Navigation markers for some locations are permanently affixed to the HUD.

 

Feature Updates


Universe

   Updated usable seats at the rest stop.

 

FPS

   Shortened the speed throttle delay on sprint to improve animation transition.

 

Ships and Vehicles

   Lowered heat generation of size 2 shields to prevent immediate overheat.

 

Bug Fixes

   Offline players who left a party or group should no longer show as "uninitialized".

  Fixed an issue where the shields on the Cyclone TR and AA weren't present.

  Players should no longer lose the ability to quantum travel after traveling to a few destinations.

  Quantum traveling through an asteroid field should no longer cause hundreds of mineable rocks to spawn.

  The Gallant rifle should no longer have a visible LOD block at distance.

  The glass shader elements (scratches, scuffs, ect) should no longer draw over UI when standing close to windows.

  NPCs should no longer teleport when they get into the player's path.

  Fixed missing loadout issues for the Sabre Comet, Khartu-Al, and Buccaneer.

  Quantum travel VFX should now play correctly.

  Deliveries from the stash house should now properly spawn cargo.

  Crates collected from lockers should now properly have mission markers on cargo.

  Fixed Arrowhead sniper rifle reticle being too low.

  Two-handed carry should no longer be missing stop and turn animations.

  The customs area of Levski should no longer have various replaceme balls.

  Fixed replaceme balls within Conscientious objects.

  Fixed missing VFX cracking when mining rocks.

  Fixed an issue with laser VFX not syncing to throttle setting.

 

Technical

   Fixed 6 client crashes.

  Fixed 2 server crashes.
